Your video inspired me to clean out an upstairs closet that I had all sorts of items stored in and I was amazed how much space I now have after decluttering items to keep, and donating unused items. I also found some hidden items to use so that was a nice surprise.

A couple of homemaking ideas, first, leaving that gap in the back of your linens shelves is a great idea. It allows better air circulation to help prevent them from smelling musty after being stored for several seasons. Second, when I get sweaters and other heavy clothing out for the season, I often pop those items in the clothes dryer with a damp tea towel. That removes any dust that may have collected and freshens things up beautifully.

Once again, a lovely video. Your videos inspire me so much! Unfortunately I cannot do much at the moment as I had to have extensive knee surgery and need to use crutches for 6 weeks (3.5 down, 2.5 to go, yay) so keeping up witheven the most basic household chores has been very challenging. Watching you work in your home makes me feel more peaceful, even if I can't tackle all the messes in my own home at the moment. Have a great autumn & best wishes from Germany!

I also cut the tops off spent socks to use as hair ties! They also keep rolls of wrapping paper from unrolling and keep various alike items bundled together. The rest of the sock becomes a cleaning rag.

I'd be so curious to know how receptive your kids are to your food choices for the home. I have always tried to have the most nutritious food and less processed/box foods. My older kids have been expressing a lot of comments on how we have no food, ever. The boys of yours always seem so appreciative and it's nice to see!
