those ice blocks you saw along the road is only for market goods storage for fish vendors it’s not for desserts and for eating.

Such a wonderful observation of a beautiful and proud nation of people. The people make The Philippines for sure.

Every video I've seen of people traveling to the Philippines shows how lovely the people are and what a blast it is. It's definitely on my bucket travel list.

The  two slain Japanese men were actually not victims of a random kieling but an ordered hit by their fellow business partner back home.  The shooters were traced back on CCTV and got caught by MPD.

23:40 That was the perfect summary of the Filipino mindset. My wife is a native of the Philippines and she would tell me that when houses would get flooded by the monsoons they viewed the water as a free swimming pool. Kids and adults would be playing in the water instead of being sad that their houses were flooded. Also, the last time we visited we brought IKEA chocolate bars and gave them out to members of her family. It was as if we were giving out gold bars instead of 75-cent chocolate bars. Their perspective on life is so refreshing.

I was in hospital last year here in the UK and all THE best nurses were from that region. Absolutely lovely people.

That’s Jones Bridge you were on , and no it’s not really made by the Chinese😅

It just happens to connect the oldest part of Manila to Chinatown

the title of this made me think you went back to the uk

The country that arrests YouTubers, England??  😂😅

Glad you're in the Philippines, looking forward to your Philippine adventure

Welcome to the Philippines bruv. From Harrow England myself lived out here for a year, settled in BGC. I’ve used drones 360 cameras and all here people love the camera. You’ll be bless here since you’ve been many more notorious places. And most Filipinos love foreigners especially white ones.

I worked with some Filipinos and they’re genuinely the nicest, happiest people

Love it, I missed the old Backpacker Ben interacting with locals. We want to see more of this!

Philippines is amazing, great country great people! If you disrespect it you pay the price

I absolutely love the Pines! Rate it above Thailand personally

Great man. I went many times to the north port area of Tondo in 2007. That part of Tondo was extreme back then. Been to the Philipines 16 times now. Last time in january 2025. Out of 86 countries visited Philippines is number one for me.

The Philippine people deserve better by their leaders in creating an infrastructure that supports all its people. The people are warm, friendly and hardworking. Business leaders also need to step up as well. It's a beautiful country with so much going on. We have many Filipino friends stateside. Great Video Ben as always. Nice to see you not get Bad Belly.
All the best my friend    👍👍😁😁  Jim and Harriet

Where’s Miss Portugal great work mate from Melbourne ❤

@Backpacker Ben
I found you when you were with Bald & Bankrupt  in India. I remember you and Bald on a train and that guy had his feet right next to your head and you freaked out lol. That's when I subscribe to you because it was hilarious.
Anyway, I want to tell you I love your positivity and respectful behavior to the people in the Philippines. You can tell it makes them truly happy when you compliment them. They probably remember that compliment for the rest of their lives.
