It's crazy how underrated Dubois is. She gave me nightmares when i was a kid due to that jumping across the building scene combined with THAT song

Because they are well written, allowed to be villains or are genuinely funny while being intimidating

Pitch WAS the table. No room for others. So the man on the moon made heroes to fight him. The others share the power and responsibility. He dominated.

I love how it was esentially just "How are you going to beat us, we are Kun fu masters"
Shen: " I cast GUN"

"sometimes the villain isn't a monster, he's just a masterpiece that the creator did not know how to handle" literally homelander

Death also screamed in Spanish " Why the Devil did I have to play with my food?!" I'm not fluent in Spanish by any means, but I love that line.

Except for "Death" from Puss in Boots (he took the throne of animation movie villians instantly when I saw the movie) up to this day the KungFu Panda movies for me having the best villians 🥷🏻🤷🏻‍♂️(Every Anime I've watched since I started not included)

Talking about Death
"He's just there for the life."
15 seconds later...
"He wasn't there to be a murderer."

You got it right the first time. He was there for the life. He wanted to claim Puss's final life because he didn't think Puss was worthy of it after wasting his first eight. He even says as much, "Why don't I do us both a favor and take this last [life] now?" Death is literally wanting to kill Puss before Puss can just blow off his last life. Death savors the chase, he could've easily killed Puss many different times, but instead he psychologically tortures him, toying with him (ironically) like a cat playing with a mouse. That's not antagonistic, that's villainous and I love it. Death even calls Puss out. Death knows that Puss wants to use the wish to get his lives back, (even though Puss never directly said this to him) and he offers Puss the chance to "run away to more lives," but Puss refuses.

It's only after Puss tells Death to his face, "I know I can never defeat you, Lobo, but I will never stop fighting for this life," does Death realize that Puss, the "arrogant little legend who thought he was immortal," now values his life and what makes it truly important. Death wanted to kill the Legend, he wanted nothing more than to see him perish, but Puss killed the Legend first. That arrogant side of Puss died on the Star, replaced by someone who lives not for fame or immortality, but for his friends like Perrito and his true love in Kitty.

That's why Death let Puss live. Because that side of him was already dead. But when that clock does expire, like it does for all of us, Death will be there, not to take Puss's life out of spite, but because he's Death. Straight up.

Death is honestly probably the most intimidating and threatening villian of all time.

Death, Chen, Tai Lung and Pitch Black are the ones you'd never want to go against or even think about, knowing your dead in a split seconds.

3:04 best line ever to describe a villain

1:20 "The light" 😩

When you allow the villains to thrive, the story thrives. 😌

10:00 it's the other way around

Death was such a cool villain only on screen for something like 10 minutes yet stole the whole film
