Remember, you're never obliged to do anything you don't want to do. This is a video game and you can enjoy it any way you like. Just say no to requests that you're not interested in.

I just bought the game yesterday, I was sitting at the deploy area, two dudes were talking near by, my chat volume was super loud and I was laughing telling them they were blowing out my ear drums. The guy asked if I was new, turns out he's one of the leaders for 419, said "I'm gonna invite you to this thing, just accept and follow me, we're going to the front. took me to a base that needed defending and I had a blast. This community is pretty nice.

When I started playing I was invited by a friend to a regiment that specialized in only bridge warfare. That's all we did. It was cancer and I loved it.

As a solo player, i view myself more as a free agent than anything else. I've worked with 82dk, FMAT, SCUM, SOM, among others, all without actually joining their regi. As Robert said, most regi's are willing to work with solo players as long as you work with them. This to me is the biggest benefit of being a solo player.

Joining a regiment has definitely helped me learn how to do logi effectively

The current war 119 is my first war in foxhole and I've noticed i have the most fun getting groups of randoms together on the front lines or in emergencies like when the Saltcaps got raided by tanks, it makes for a really cool feeling when you get a bunch of randoms who have no affiliation with each other working towards the same goal like a fervent mob, or the cool feeling of being able to turn to your fellow soldier and say "hey we need that armor down" or "we need ammo" and know that someone is going to do it even if its not the person your talking to.

I choosed to stick with wardens .My first clan was a small german medic regiment from a youtuber but it wasnt really active so i decided to join another one i only searched up foxhole in youtube or twitch.I found a streamer and it was a warden regiment. So i just runned to there local position where they did gunboat action they asked to join and i did. i never was on a gunboat and saw it as a chance . while we were preparing i got drived over with a ambulance truck on the boat. now im in there for ca.6 month and i love spending time for operations with this regi.                 Thank you TBP :D

Any clan is perfectly acceptable to join as long as it's STORM

Playing solo in Foxhole feels like being a lone wolf or deserter

I only play wardens and I’ve been playing since war 45, one thing I have noticed over time is being able to tell when you are going up against or fighting with an organized regiment. Usually it shows as a screen of infantry, logi, arty or armor, figuring out if the enemy is organized is more difficult though. I was in jade cove this past week and noticed I was shelled for multiple hours straight, given the data I gathered and countless deaths witnessed you can access the pure logistical support and arty team awareness needed that your enemy is organized. One of the most important things to learn as a foxhole player is battlefield awareness, checking your map talking to people and putting other ques together to access your situation. I think a good video could be made on spawning into a frontline and learning what the situation is. Keep up the great work ❤️

I got adopted by a regiment last night and got a 3 hour course on how to build properly and i loved it, and was able to go build my own bunker base no problem

I once (after hard solo work) finished a tank and some ammunition for it.
I went towards a front where a group (idk the name anymore) was defending after I arrived a with my tank 2 of them joined me in my tank (driver and MG) and even put the 40mm the tank needed into their Logi route for the time i was there.

when i had to go off i drove my tank back and went offline. The next day sadly they wasnt defending there anymore and i never saw them again.

Playing in a regiment and building and operating one of the harder to produce vehicles could be the ultimate achievement in the game. Seeing all your hard work and teamwork come together which is what Foxhole is all about.

Been playing for about 3 weeks now. Joined a regiment and you learn a lot pretty quickly from them. I notice if you pick a hex to do most of your playing in youll see the same people over and over, who you can make friends with and make a kind of defacto regiment with when you play also.

My regiment of a single person and it's factory are currently holding the line in deadlands.

Imagine being a lone soldier fighting a personal war.

Your regi spread sheet is amazing, very useful thanks Robert!

i simply was invited to a tank and then ivited to the regiment after. best decision of my life. We just did a D-Day operation and they are helping me learn the game. Truly no reason to play solo

If you're not a huge team player, try joining a logi group who's NOT in your time zone.
Sometimes all a front needs to survive is a logi guy with access to the resources of a logistics regiment.

That's pretty much how it went for me, even FMAT gets pretty quiet at certain hours of the day, and even if a front doesn't flare up and need 2000 shirts per hour, there's still plenty to do that'll help everyone, from scrooping to manufacturing to just keeping everything running.
