Fun fact: after Ed recorded this he called James Acaster who was in America. James ignored the first calls cause he thought they were a mistake and didn’t want Ed to waste money. However when Ed kept calling he answered in case it was an emergency only to hear Ed giggling down the line telling him he was doing Drunk History. This then started a tradition of other comedians drunk calling James after doing the show cause Ed told them to.

Also, Ed passed out on the sofa and was still there when Nish Kumar arrived to record his episode in the afternoon. Ed then woke up when Nish was filming, invaded his set, and kept interrupting him.

Basically Ed Gamble is a little shit and I love it.

The directors of these are such geniuses, they have to choose the exact lines for the actors to act, but also which drunken slurs, pauses and laughs are funny and appropriate

Considering he has Diabetes, the idea of 7 red bulls alone might have nearly killed him.

Despite being absolutely wasted, Ed Gamble did a pretty spot-on South African accent. Not sure if that was even the accent he was going for, but it was still spot-on.

The first half I was like ''oh, he doesn't seem that drunk? No way he is the drunkest guest they've ever had on.''
