Very nice. I love doing 'inlaid' cards.

I want to try putting pressure and seal lightly on the bottom of a diecut. then put a second pieces on the top side firmly. Then pull the bottom of the diecut press and seal gently off. This keeps your diecut as intended and paper the correct side out. Then attach the outliner diecut to a square piece of paper. Add the petal parts as desired.  Then fussy cut around your design edge to finish the piece to put on the card. No worries,  I was just thinking about something that would not be Reversicble symmetrical.

So simple and pretty!

Since I posted this video, I have changed the way I cut thin dies on my Sizzix Big Shot. I try to use the least amount of pressure that gives me a good cut. Unfortunately this is different for every machine, from die to die  and even varies with paper thickness. You will have to experiment to see what works best for you. The precision base plate is almost always effective at getting a great cut from super detailed dies but I do worry that such tremendous pressure will dull my dies. I guess the short answer is less is more (better for your dies) but sometimes you have to apply more pressure to get the results your after. Hope this is helpful!
