When Roethlisberger and Brady were “Young Quarterbacks”

I miss this Steelers team. So many iconic players... Ward, the Bus, Randle El, Burress, Big Ben, so many more. I miss this team.

This video could also be titled "The game that made the Patriots start to cheat"

Here after 7’s last home game. So many memories, thank you Ben!

They beat another undefeated team in the Eagles the following week. Both teams they beat would meet in the SB

Ben is one of the ultimate competiters. He's one of the hardest to take down, He's stretched some plays to make a good run. He's played with a broken thumb, a broken foot, his jaw wired, he's broken a good pile of records. The idea of sitting one out is simply not in his vocabulary. IMHO he should make the hall of fame.

Roethlisberger is the youngest QB to ever win a Super Bowl 😎

"Bringing in Jerome Bettis" Man do I miss hearing that!

31 other fanbases were all Steeler fans on this day. By 2004, everyone outside of Boston was sick of the Patriots

I was at this game. You can hear in the video, the whole place was electric the entire game. What a memory!

“2 really young good quarterbacks” 😭 I’m gonna miss them

Watching Bettis ram through defenders....... Ah the memories. And Hines doing his thang.

I remember when he first came in for Tommy Maddox that was the happiest day of my life as a Steeler fan born in 75

@deadarmd 7 years ago

The first game he came in to cover for Maddox you could see this was a really good selection. Never forget the feeling of "wow we might have gotten the best qb out of the three"

4:19 was the last time the patriots got a call against them

Roethlisberger's rookie season is the gold standard.

The Steelers became the 1st AFC team to win 15 regular season games that year. Ben went undefeated from week 3 to the AFC Championship and would have won that game if not for NE knowing the hand signals and plays before the ball was even snapped. Ben and the Steelers had proven they were the far better team that year so NE resorted to cheating to make sure they won.

The season that made Bettis an unstoppable train on Madden the next year

One thing about Ben...the guy checks down!...he simply scans every option there is regardless of the pressure. It's relentless. I'm not a Steeler fan but I respect his talent.
The guy just never gives up on a play.
