The start of a truly remarkable era. Who would have ever thought 17 years later, we would still get to witness greatness. This game was such a mess, with the after effects of Hurricane Jeanne.

This was practically a different sport than what the NFL has become

God I miss the mid-2000s Steelers defense.

When the announcer said it was “hogwash” that Eli was considered thee best draft pick it gave me a big smile. I think as of 2021 it’s CRYSTAL clear that Ben is, was, and always will be the greatest quarterback from that draft.

Man if we didnt lose that one game and ben was able to go crazy in the afc champ we woulda had 7 rings and pats dynasty may not have became what it is

Insane watching this the night of Big Ben's final home game! Almost 18 years later and here we are! God, makes me feel old! Truly another iconic career. Insane to watch how different the NFL was back then! Here's to Big Ben for 18 years of entertainment! He will be missed but it's a much earned retired!

1:07 definitely correct! That guy knows what he is talking about. Ben is clearly the best QB out of the 04 draft class. There's no debate

So surreal seeing this footage when Ben was just a baby in the league. As a Steeler fan since Bradshaw's last two seasons Ben was a godsend. So many good Steelers teams without a good QB. Sure we had Neil and he got us there once but Ben's arrival changed everything. What could he have accomplished if that dude Brady had not happened along. Hope Ben and the team finish strong and see him out with at least a playoff appearance.

Of everything that Ben has accomplished, it's rarely acknowledged that, after Tommy Maddox got hurt, he helped the Steelers rattle off 15 straight wins and didn't lose until the AFC Championship...in his rookie year.

I was at this game. 40k ppl in the stadium at start. By the time the storm came thru, dropped to maybe 30k and it was all black jerseys. What an amazing site to see.
