Ah yes, the usual nuclear fusion reactor in a crummy old building in the middle of NYC

Casually invents AI on the way to creating a star

Mind you… doc ock made like 10 different inventions easily and combined them all into 1 which he uses as glorified pincers to invent a fusion reactor. This is probably the smartest version of doc ock ever

You figure something like this should be done in a controlled environment

I love Sam Rami uses small items to hint that something is going to go wrong . He starts with the paper clip, then the lights and then Ottos Reaction

I always felt bad for his wife in this scene.

When Octavius says this at 2:48-2:52 and you see the close up of his face, you can really see a certain level of resentment he has towards Oscorp and Harry, particularly given how Harry made him talk to Peter in their previous encounter, despite Octavius saying "I really don't have time to talk to students right now".

I am surprised no one asked ock the basic question:

"Doc are you sure we won't die of radiation poisoning

I really like this till the nurse somehow peeled up concrete flooring with her fingernails. 🤨

Doc ock is the stone age version of tony stark. Doc made an unlimited energy with large machines while tony made a smaller one with the size of his heart which is the arc reactor. You can tell the comparison in no way home when doc held the arc reactor for the first time, reminding of his own machine he had built.
