So fun fact. Tony Todd last speach was not him acting or was in the script. He improvise the whole scene giving the audience and fans one last lesson and in away a thank you to the audience and the fans. Which is very heartbreaking scene in context because this was his last role and he knew this was it. Rest in Peace Tony Todd you will never be forgotten.

these Final Destination movies are all about gratuitously violent deaths and trashy, low-brow suburbanites but they had a more gracious, dignified send-off for Tony Todd than Disney/Lucasfilm did for Carrie Fischer in Star Wars

"Death uhh... finds a way."
-Jeff Goldblum

Best joke in this movie is about how when the tattoo guy finds out his real dad he asks "is that why he always wanted to play catch!?"  Plus when the Piano landed on the evil little kid in the opening EVERYONE in my theater cheered

Boogie faked cancer to avoid the Final Destination.

A friend of mine has met a few people in the film industry, and one time I asked her about the whole "why do modern films use CGI over practical work 95% of the time" thing, and apparently pretty much all the practical effects specialists/teams have strong unions, whereas there are still many computer animators who aren't unionized. For film companies, this means they can rope animators into working longer and harder for less money than if the studios were to work out a contract with the practical effects teams.

Man, I never saw Tony Todd near his end before. He's so thin, he looks like a different person.

The real Final Destination is YMS' reputation.

RIP Tony Todd, this was a sweet farewell for him.

Metal rings ripping off the finger skin (or the whole finger) is actually something that has happened in industrial accidents. Which is why in some jobs where this is a possibility you're supposed to remove your ring or wear a silicone one.

You know i think tony todd played venom in spiderman 2

The in memory of Tony at the end ties in shockingly well when you consider his character was next after that ending. Kind of the perfect send off for him.

51:42 I can't believe y'all had no reaction to Tony Todd literally saying goodbye. That scene choked me up at the theater.

Fun fact: when I went to see this, the universe pulled a Final Destination 4 and there was a fire in my movie theater. Not as big as that one, but still😂

The human characters weren't safe but the animals are now that YMS is gone.

Some Fun Facts: Tony Todd was also the Candyman. The Candyman was the alias for Sam Hyde in his boxing career. Tom Hardy learned MMA and boxing techniques for films Bronson and Warriors before he played Eddie Brock—and I think that Tony Todd once voiced Venom.

Death comes to his job everyday with a smile and an open-mind.

Somehow, Final Destination returned

35:29 There are so many 'Scary Movie' style jokes you could do with cutting back to a funeral after every death.

Like, after a couple deaths, all their clothes are are getting dirtier and dirtier because they don't have time to wash them. Somebody is in one of those tuxedo-pattern T-shirts, and another has the jacket and tie but then a pair of sweatpants.

The coffins are getting visibly cheaper and cheaper until we just cut to the latest victim in the Family Guy death pose at the bottom of a hole they dug themselves. Prior to that, one of the family slips the excavator crew some money and asks them to just dig a few extra graves while they have the equipment here already. Same goes for the tombstones, where eventually it's just a piece of plywood on a stick. One of the offscreen deaths is mentioned as being, ironically, crushed by a tombstone while trying to haggle for a group discount.

The priest is looking progressively less and less invested, and eventually starts losing track of who exactly died. Another family member dies during the funeral and falls into the grave, and the priest changes his eulogy mid-sentence. "He was a loving husband, leaving behind-(widow gets an arrow to the back of the head from an archer at the Ren Fair next door)-they were a loving couple, leaving behind..."

There's a bagpipe player playing 'Amazing Grace,' but each time he's sweatier and more red in the face, and the song sounds worse and worse.

Meanwhile in the background, there's always at least two or three other funerals going on, and we overhear snippets and see costume details that tell us that basically this exact same scenario is happening to a bunch of other people off-screen, complete with ridiculous circumstances of death and an increasingly annoyed family.

Hell, that'd be the place for some celebrity cameos. 'Scary Movie' loves those. Maybe Jane Protagonist bumps into Charlie Sheen, and each awkwardly summarizes the ridiculous circumstances of the latest family death.

"A fire extinguisher shot a weathervane through my grandma's head."

"Rough. Ours was incinerated in a pottery kiln explosion. Cleaner way to go than Aunt Jenny with the lawnmower in the breakfast nook. You had a lawnmower one yet? Everyone gets one."

"Uh, yeah. My uncle. It happened in the back yard. There was a trampoline and some broken glass and stuff."

"Outside? Lucky. Well, later."

....goodness, this has gotten out of hand. I just wanted to comment on how funny the repeated 'cut to funeral after death' scene would be, and now I'm not sure if this is a movie pitch, fanfiction, or both.

You can tell Wolf didn't edit this one because the constant Simpsons references didn't make the editor want to off himself. Also: great job as always, Goger!
