Rakim is back, and this one hit different! 🔥

Today I'm reacting to Rakim – "A Different Kind" (Official Music Video) for the very first time. From the lyrical precision to the effortless flow, the God MC reminds everybody why he's one of the greatest to ever touch a microphone.

The god MC.

At 58 he’s spitting better than today’s rappers. Those rhyme patterns are ridiculous

The man's a legend. I'm 55 and Rakim has always been my favourite MC. He switched the game up, lyrically.

Hip Hop can be divided into two eras : Before Rakim and After Rakim. He changed rap flow when he came out. He MADE modern rhyme flow.

The GOD MC is 58. These new dudes need to do more than write, they need to read. RAKIM is spitting knowledge and experience on this track. 🔥 🔥🔥🔥

Rakim is the bully's bully. Hide the women and children, a Rakim storm is coming. My all time favorite rapper.

Been a hip hop head since 80. I remember when Rakim dropped and since then he and LL have been my top 2 all time in that order. Super happy the GOD MC is still killing it! Now my ass wanna see him and the XG rap core collab lol!
