Piste It Together is back and in this latest episode Lynn and I will help you understand how to ski BAD snow like a pro!

I’m joined by Lynn, an ex-GB team racer and top-level BASI trainer, we explore the feeling every skier is chasing: the speed, flow, and performance that carries you cleanly from one turn to the next.

Whoosh is Lynn’s word for that moment when everything lines up, timing, pressure, direction, then those skis simply go! No forcing. No muscling. Just movement and momentum working together.

We filmed this episode in challenging, spring-like conditions down in NZ which made finding whoosh even more interesting. Soft snow, variable grip, and changing feedback forced us to adapt, refine, and stay honest with our technique.

As always, let me know in the comments what ideas or sensations you’re trying to unlock in your own skiing. The goal of Piste It Together is to learn from great skiers and bring those insights into every day we're on the mountain.
