Who knew 50 years later I'd want to watch commercials. Miss these days!

So fun and relaxing to be able to watch these ads. It actually helps take away stress and anxiety.

I was 14 in 79 and my mom started letting me use makeup.  I remember my bathroom always smelled like Cover Girl liquid makeup, Noxema, and Jean Nate' Body Splash.   Such wonderful memories ❤❤❤❤❤

“And as one gets older, one system becomes more delicate” boy ain’t that the truth.

1979 seems like yesterday. I can't believe that it was almost fifty years ago

Summer of 1979 I was a spry 7 year old.  Still watching Star Wars at the drive-in behind my house.

We used to use the bathroom, go to the kitchen or avoid watching commercials when they were on at the time. Now we seek to watch these old commercials for nostalgia. 🤭😂

I graduated from high school in ‘79. This  brings back a lot of memories.

They don't make commercials like they used to! What a time capsule!

Beer commercials had the best jingles.

Watching these really, really makes me realize how far we've fallen as a society.  2026 is pure hell.

That's when Wendy's had a good burger.  Now the buns are crummy, the condiments are the cheapest available, the beef has nearly disappeared even Clara Peller is rolling over in her grave.

I was 16 and in my last year of HS. I remember every single commercial. Guess I watched too much tv.

I was a freshman in high school; words cant describe how much I miss it.  Miss you mom and dad, love you guys forever.❤🙏

6:18 voiceover by Danny Dark, aka Superman on Superfriends.

I remember staying home from school and watching tv. If the show was boring I’d just wait until the commercials. I told my brother they should have a channel with just commercials and he said no one would watch it.

I was seven then and I forgot about Cycle dog food. We fed my first pet dog that food.

How i miss those "The Body Human" documentaries. I used to watch them with my father back then.
