this makes me miss my dad so much. RIP dad.

When I was kid I remember watching Sandford and Son, Chico and Man and the Rockford Files with my dad, we loved those shows.

Angle Dickinson. WOW!

The Rockford Files was, is, and will always be cool. Still being shown every day somewhere.

The Sunday Mystery Movie was always a favorite in my family.  Of course, Columbo was several notches above the others.

I loved "The Rockford Files."  Witty, sophisticated, tounge-in-cheek and a plot line that was good every week.

I loved Rockford files, I named my second son after Jon Gage on Emergency and I wrote a letter to NBC at the ripe old age of 11 to protest the cancelling of Black Sheep Squadron. Those were the days of great TV shows.

EMERGENCY! was the show I LOVED tuning into as a kid on Saturday nights!

it seemed like Mutual of Omaha's wild kingdom would never end while waiting for the wonderful world of Disney

Ah Police Woman. My dad was in love wit Angie and her natural 44s as he'd say. One night PW was on and he let me smoke a bit of his cigar. I was like 7 or 8. Ugh it made me sick as hell. He tucked me in and barely got the covers fixed when he says something like "You ok you look green"...and I jumped out of bed to go puke. I didn't touch a cigar again in my life even when I smoked ciggs lol. He never let me live that down :P

1976, Cool Senior in high school.

Angie Dickinson WOW!

I still love Angie Dickinson!

Thank God for the METV channel!

That opening for McCloud really brings me back.

I remember watching The Rockford Files with my grandma, she loved that show. I can name that opening tune in one note.

Damn, I didn't realize that NBC had three movie nights, four if you count the rotating mystery movies.

I missed a lot of show because i joined the Navy in July if 1976 and overseas by October

I missed the peacock for nbc and when it came back it was never the same

Ah,  the black sheep squadron and his bull dog. Awesome show.  Chico and the man, Sanford and Son great comedies. Good dramas to with little house, black sheep, police story, serpico, emergency. Man I miss those kind of shows.
