The Internet's Delusion Epidemic

Social media has a tendency to create and platform insanely delusional people, so I took a deeper look into some notable examples today, mainly Tyler Catastrophe, RaptureTok, and the reality shifters of 2020 TikTok. Enjoy.

tbh, yeah, hes annoying and weird and stuff, but his worse offense, to me, is to be an apologist to an abuser, that shit aint cute or quirky. So i guess, for that, i think it's fine to make fun of him a little. Though i think Tyler needs therapy, he's not mentally healthy at allllll, but his narcissistic tendencies would never allow him to actually put in the work to become better

As a veteran MCYT fan, Wilbur Soot is the WORST person to have a parasocial crush on in that sphere, and that's saying something. Like, lil bro, he does NOT like you. William Gold, The Brighton Biter, threw apples at a cancer patient (allegedly), mistreated his minor friend (allegedly), abused his girlfriend (proven), and just generally doesn't act like someone with an understanding of human emotion.

As a slavic person my favorite thing is to watch all of these dramas round the world develop and have no idea who these people are😂. But I'm sat every time ready to dive in

Tyler's confidence is actually astronomical, almost inspirational if he wasnt a total delusional crazy tbh

most videos I've seen on tyler are always ignoring the fact that willbur is an abuser that did more than just bite his ex and it pisses me off a little

Ex-junkie here. I've tried almost every drug. Heroin is a better example of "best thing ever"

Using Tyler's logic, I'm from Michigan BUT I went to Colorado and now I identify as a rock from the Garden of the Gods.

Tyler is someone who wishes he peaked in high school, but didn't, and instead made his entire personality around one Tumblr post he made in 2014 that got 75 notes

The two-spirited thing actually pisses me off so bad because is it that hard to not take someone else's culture and warp it to try and make profit or a point off it???? Aside from this, he definitely needs therapy and I hope one day he realizes what he's doing and tries to get better.

Brighton is kinda known as the UK's queer city so that could be a reason but again, i do think it's him wanting to be close to wilbur as the excuse to move to England and i knew someone who did "shifting" (it's just lucid dreaming) and i later found out through my friend (they dated hence why i knew her) that she was diagnosed with BPD or something like that (i don't really care nor remember cause she wasn't that good a person)

I heard your giggle after the “isn’t there someone you forgot to ask” meme and it was like life leaned in to listen. Then I found out you were a one piece fan and my parasocial crush faded instantly
