Might as well watch a video “this is what life could be like if you were happy”

I don’t want to remind myself of things I can’t have

Bo7 year 2 NEEDS to happen 🔥

For years two they should add carry forward everything from bo6 into bo7

Would love to see the pack-a-punch camos from the Bo6 maps as well! Some nutty camos from that game

I would love the crashed boat as a survival map

Is anybody else disappointed with the Halloween update this year?
BO6’s Halloween update was awesome, in my opinion. I really enjoyed Liberty Falls with the Rampage Inducer permanently active and all the jack-o’-lanterns dropping everywhere. Cold War’s jack-o’-lantern event was really fun too.
Rogue Run is cool in concept. My biggest issue is how the pumpkins work on the reward pedestal. Selecting one can replace basically anything—augments, field upgrades, weapons, whatever. I’d much rather see pumpkins periodically drop on the ground so I actually have the agency to decide whether I want to interact with one.
You could even lean harder into the trick-or-treat concept. Sometimes you open one and get something great. Other times you open it and suddenly there’s an HVT Mimic trying to rearrange your skeleton. That sounds way more fun to me than having a pumpkin randomly replace something I already wanted.
Endgame is fine, I guess. The summoning event is okay, and the new exotic is fun to play with, but once you’ve done the new world event, that’s basically it.
I’d also really like some way to deal with bad relics in Rogue Run. Maybe every boss round you could randomly remove one, reroll one, or have some limited way to influence what you’re carrying. I understand that the roulette-style randomness is part of the fun, and I don’t want to completely remove that. But some of those modifiers are brutal, and having even a little more agency would make the mode much more enjoyable.
I think what makes this update more disappointing is how much I enjoyed Black Ops 7 overall. I’ve had a really good time with this game, and they built up a ton of momentum throughout the year.
Ashes was, in my opinion, one of the best launch maps we’ve had in a while. Every map was good. Astra was a little small for me, and I personally don’t like Totenreich very much, but I know that’s a pretty niche opinion because a lot of people love it.
One of my favorite parts of this entire cycle was getting a new map, doing the standard run, and then going back through Cursed Tier 1, 2, and 3 solo. I liked learning each map, unlocking the new Pack-a-Punch camos, and working through the relics. I did probably 99% of Black Ops 7’s content solo, and that progression loop gave me a reason to keep coming back.
That’s why the ending feels so underwhelming. With the introduction of Rex Infernus, I expected more—new Cursed Pack-a-Punch camos, new relics, something substantial to cap off the year. Instead, it feels like a lot of the systems that made this season fun just stopped getting additions.
I really enjoyed Black Ops 7. That’s actually why I’m disappointed. They spent the entire year building momentum, and instead of sticking the landing, it feels like they limped through the finish line.

6:23 I would also love to see the bootlegger and flamethrower return along with the Stryder pistols

i would absolutely love the middle area in astra as a survival map. i absolutely adore astra's skybox

12:10 Haunted havoc. Loved that ltm so much. It felt like a major achievement completing the reckoning on that one

You'd think it'd be easy to make more areas available for survival maps since so many such areas are in the game for Rogue Run.

Would love to see all of this (ideally also skins, camos, attachments, etc)

3:59 YES THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY CRIMINAL TO REMOVE

I pray they pull off a carry forward or more survival maps etc. But me personally if they can only do something small I'd be happy with the music player and hud themes. Also standard getting some super EE rewards its only fair.

For Ultra Rarity weapons on each map
Ashes: XM4 and Marine SP
Astra: PU21 and Cypher 091
Paradox: Nail Gun and Baseball Bat
Totenreich: GS45

BO7 Year 2 would be absolute generational because there are so many ideas that the potential is high! If they did a weapon carryforward I would like it how you said it "You'll be able to use only BO7 weapons on BO6 maps and BO6 weapons on BO7 maps" and they should be a different playlist

i love the survival mode just pure survival as long as you can it brings back old school zombies

6:58

Alternate idea for Totenreich.
The Model L, but specifically that Prestige blueprint that turned it into the Stg44
I know it isn’t a 100% accurate model of the stg44 since it was using the body of the Model L, but i still loved it despite that and miss it in bo7 everyday

i swear to god i remember them talking about bo6 maps being playable in bo7 at cod NEXT or maybe in a tweet but i cant find it anywhere. would LOVE if they did this i really wanna play cursed shattered veil.

Rex could have the house as a survival map

Chronicles 2 & BO6 Carry Forward for all Zombies content yes fn PLEASE
