This is the full story of our epic cross-country journey -- 14 bike trails, 2 National Parks, and lots of other adventures. From a mechanical "rebellion" on Day 3 to the majestic peaks of the Tetons and a life-saving rescue in Iowa. This trip took place over August/September, 2025.

We went into this trip thinking we weren't rookies anymore, but the 'Morning of the Slinky' on Day 3 definitely put us back in our place! 😂 From the quiet of the Tetons to the neon lights of the High Trestle Bridge, it was a wild ride. Huge thanks to everyone we met along the way—especially our guardian angel in Iowa. Where should we head for our 4th trip out West?

What an inspirational video! Thanks so much bringing us along. Your videos are just wonderful and so informative. Your descriptive narration is wonderful. Our daughter was a National Park Ranger in Glacier and the Tetons right out of college. She hiked us all over Glacier! I especially enjoyed your Glacier segment segment. I'm so glad we found your channel! We are rv'ers, late 60's age, native Texans, that love to bike, kayak and golf. We have Gazelle bikes too! We're currently in the northern peninsula of Michigan enjoying the cooler temps. We did the TART trail (stayed at the Leelanau Sands Casino rv area, $25./night 50a elec w/ water and dump on site). We also did the Sleeping Bear Dunes Heritage trail starting at the opposite end you guys chose. Our motor coach (44' Dutch Star) unfortunately was too long to be accepted to camp at that lovely and very convenient D.H. Day Campground you mentioned in a different video near Sleeping Bear Dunes (35 ft max rv length no exceptions). Sharing this tidbit for others. ;) Hoping to get ideas and inspiration from your channel for future trips. We used to be full time RV travelers, now it's 6 mos on the road and then 6 mos wintering in AZ taking care of my mom. Are there any other RV traveling and cycling channels you or others can recommend? I'm the planner and researcher!

My one big 26 day camping trip was in 1973. Took a used pop up and. $1,000. Started in Illinois ,to Yellowstone, Glacier, Seattle, San Fran , back through the a southwest. No big issues. Remember helping other campers issues. 😊

Hello Don and Barbara in Fort Worth, Texas! First, I want to say that you guys are just incredible. We’ve enjoyed your videos so much. One minor tweak that I could add of course I’m sure you get lots of advice. For me, I would prefer you break up your videos into 30 minute videos for each of the places you’re riding! This would give us an opportunity to go back and look at the wealth of information you’re adding and pick out a particular place to ride, not have six places I have to look through in the one that I want to go to on our next bike trip! For example, you flew through Fort Worth, Texas, and rode the Trinity Trail, which we ride all the time but I think it would’ve been great to mix in a little Fort Worth barbecue and some little scenery around Fort Worth as you go. There’s a Pappadeaux‘s restaurant that was on the trail. That’s just amazing Cajun food. I do want to say that you make some of the greatest biking videos on YouTube. You’re really good at filming and doing the narrative for them. Just excellent work! Keep up the cycling to show us the way!!!

I saw the badlands, yellowstone, north cascades, Glacier and Teddy Roosevelt on my western trip, but I didn't bring my bike. I may need to do it again.
