That clip of Emil explaining how they literally aren’t even gonna try to write a good story anymore is one of the most depressing things I’ve ever seen.

I wonder if Emil ever realized how impactful that talk about his game design was on his career, because almost everyone references it as the reason why all of his games are written like shit

I'm so proud. He keeps up the Bethesda tradition by making as many Bethesda videos as Skyrim re-releases!

I remember when fallout 4 came out a report said pornhub traffic dropped 20% for a few weeks 😂

I’m actually so confused how all of my friends hate Fallout 4, 76 and Starfield, but still have any sort of hope or expectation for Elder Scrolls 6.

@Rotbeam99 11 months ago

you either die a Morrowind, or live long enough to become a Starfield.

“They’re gonna ignore your story to build shacks.”
My brother in Christ if the story is good they’ll do both.

As a huge fan of prey (2017) and dishonored, the moment I heard "acquisition of Arkane Studios" a tear fell down my cheek.

I swear Emil Pagliaro has blackmail on Todd Howard because no one else who’s that terrible at writing could keep their job otherwise.

@piotrd7355 11 months ago

Emil, you will never write the Great American Novel. You are not even capable of preparing a table of contents.

@robkrol2137 11 months ago

Todd shouldn't get credit for Morrowind, that was all Ken Rolston. Todd wasn't the lead designer for that, Ken was.

At first I used to keep Preston in Sanctuary just because it made sense and later would transfer him to the castle, but after some time I got tired of him demanding I'd help other settlements while he sits his ass in comfort and peace doing nothing. Now every time I restart the game, I banish Preston to the most isolated, ugly and unsafe settlement I can find. I leave the minimum for him to survive and have make sure caravan routes don't pass by the settlement

This is the 3rd Bethesda video. They are an infinite source of comedy material.

I think my favorite was when Emil revealed randomly on twitter that Nate was canonically a war criminal, only to then: get called out for it, probably got called up by his boss, and then had to be like “ok he wasn’t a war criminal sorry” and deleted the tweet.

We never getting "es6". We only getting "loot box scrolls subscription edition deluxe"

Not me finding out 8 years later I was supposed to get army figures and a glow in the dark map with my Fallout 76 Special Edition🙃..... at least they replaced my "canvas" bag with an actual canvas bag

Fallout 4 endings:
1. Destroy the institute
2. Destroy the institute
3. Destroy the institute
4. Join the institute

The original sin was not greenlighting New Vegas 2 since they knew it would overshadow their own terrible efforts

Imo the worst thing Todd's ever done is offering fan mods for sale and then taking like 70%. He looked at all the free labor from people who loved the game and decided to slap them in the face and spit in their mouth, while telling them it was a good thing and he cared about them.
