"I am heavy weapons guy, and this, is my weapon. She weighs 150 kilograms and fires 200 custom tooled cartridges at 10,000 rounds per minute. It costs $400,000 to fire this weapon for twelve seconds."

The DC-17M could fire 250 shots on its standard config

Time stance:

The DC-15S carbine has to be the number one fictional weapon i want to own in real life. I just love how compact it is and reliable it looks

The DC-17 dual was the GOAT of all loadouts

The Z – 6 rotary cannon has always been considered my favorite Star Wars blaster.

The Dc-15A Dc blaster carbine Dc-17M and the Z-6 rotary blaster cannon are four of my favorite blasters in star wars

Dual dc-17s are definitely one of my favourites

Additional fun fact: the DC-15s is actually closer in design to the experimental Lanchester model 3, the evolutionary link between the classic Lanchester smg and the sterling smg, combined with an MG-34.

Frodo’s DC17s we’re actually DC-17S Blaster pistols, and those things in the front weren’t suppressors, but  made the blaster more powerful

If they had cut 12 inches off the DC-15a it would have been the greatest blaster in starwars.

From what I understand, the DC-15A rifle has a sniper configuration where the entire barrel of the blaster can rotate so the scope is on top. It also has a bipod.

Aw yeah, I need a Star Wars horde shooter like Darktide
FOR THE REPUBLIC!

The DC-15A rifle was always my favorite. Halfway point between a battle rifle and a light machine gun, hits like a truck and the image of the Clone Troopers marching through the sandstorm on Geonosis firing from the hip with these things in Attack of the Clones was burned into my mind at a young age and forever remains my favorite scene in Star Wars. In my dreams of a sequel to Republic commando I envision it as one of the pickup weapons you could get, serving in the role of a light machine gun for mowing down weaker enemies and controlling sight lines.

The DC-15S Blaster Carbine has to be my favorite. It just looks…iconic to me.

2:57 it is also the same gun based on the Imperial DLT-19 heavy blaster rifle
4:18 it is also the same gun that based the E-11 medium blaster rifle

they got cool weapons

The d-c15x is just a mg42 with a scope on it and you cant tell me other wise

The stats given on these weapons is wild.
The DC15A costs 2,200 Cedits, which is about as much as a decent set of armour or about one tenth of a quiet reasonable ship. But it gets worse, Because the extra materials and mechanical complexity mean that the Z6 is effectivly seven of these weapons taped together and costs just 800 credits more.
So Either someone is applying a hefty sticker tax, (which would be very illegal considering these were military issue) or someone was pulling numbers from their behind.
Speaking of black hole numbers, the DC15A has a stated range in this video of 10 kilometers, when the horizon is 4.8KM away,
But it gets worse, because I've found cannon materiel that stats the effective range on these guns at 600 meters.
And worse,
Because within the next paragraph the narrator goes on to say that the gun suffers accuracy issues because of overheating.
Makeing the effective range of this blaster somewhere between 20 and 600 meters; instead of the wild effective beyond horizon claim of this video.

There is more, but please have someone else elucidate further for you.
