We’re back on the Dressta TD8H dozer that burned us at auction. In the last video, we tore this transmission apart after discovering it was missing first gear, something that was never disclosed when we paid full price. The damage was extensive—destroyed clutch packs, wiped bearings, and metal throughout the case.

This TD8 design goes back to the 1960s, which helps with parts cost—but the labor, time, and risk add up fast. By the end of the video, we find out if this auction mistake was salvageable or just another expensive lesson.

If you enjoy real-world heavy equipment repairs, dozer rebuilds, and honest auction stories, make sure you’re subscribed—because we’ve got plenty more coming.
