Hi Jake and Becks. Came across your video which has brought me alot of peace and detachment from the things happening in this world. It makes me very happy that there are a younger generation that are grounding themselves in nature and Gods creation that is all we have left. I plan on visiting Scotland and alot of places before its too late, things which I wish I had years ago. Beautifully captured and edited. Listening to this many times while working which gets me through the day 😊
You are both so talented and inspiring. I love the way that you capture the beauty of nature in your films, the music and descriptions of your journey. Love that you advocate for leaving places better than you found it. My days can be so stressful and I look forward to being able to relax and enjoy your videos at the end of the day. Really beautiful work, thank you!
Great video that really captures the raw rugged natural beauty of 🏴. We also did an Autumn tour of Scotland. It must be one of the best times for leaf colours, some cold and less busy. We did the SW route in western Scotland, Arran, some of the peninsulas, Mull, Skye and the Outer Hebrides. Just breathtaking. We'd highly recommend it. We ran out of time after 4 weeks but can't wait to get back and travel the NC500.
I'd also like to compliment you on the filming and editing. You've really created a film rather than only talking heads. The way you set up the camera as you drive away from a park up stop. Also walking down a hill, and splice your footsteps into the view ahead etc. one can see how much thought you put into the production. Well done. 👏
Hello Jake I don't know if you remember me and my girlfriend we met you while we travelled Scotland and was sleeping in a VW polo met you both while you was walking back to your van I'm so glad I recognised your number plate because meeting you was the highlight of our trip I hope you both had a wonderful time in the most amazing place the world has to offer Norfolk doesn't feel like home no more my heart is in Scotland
This has just been utterly fantastic to watch such a beautiful depiction of my homeland. Glad you enjoyed it. The whole documentary made me smile from ear to ear while working offshore. Another reason for me to get my finger out and get a van. This was just spellbinding mate. Thank you both.
love the vdeo life is good may be try this drill 2 holes in the top part of your canoo both ends use (4 long bolts facing in ) and nuts then you could get a tin of ( spray foam ) make a unsinkable canoo - be safe and live long all the best paul
You're a natural film maker. That was captivating. My husband was raised in Bridge of Orchy, and I've spent some of my happiest times in my life there and you captured it's beauty and essence wonderfully. We've almost completed on our house sale and about to buy a motorhome and start our own adventures. First stop ......Bridge of Orchy, then Glencoe ( Red Squirrel campsite) then further north to see the rest of the family near Skye. Cannot wait !
You’re an old soul. Thank you for beautiful scenery of my motherland. I emigrated to NZ in 2006 and my biggest regret is not seeing more of our beautiful country 💙🇬🇧🏴
I discovered your channel after watching Becks cycle Iceland. I've just got back from two weeks touring Scotland in a van and watching this makes me want to head straight back.
WOW x1000s. Scotland's natural landscapes are just spectacular, and you captured them beautifully. When you make it back up there, I hope you'll share more of your journeys.
Enjoyed this video. Ive been exploring my own Scotland for decades and there is far more litter and people in recent years... so thank you for showing you collecting litter and inspiring other to do the same. Im on a mission to remove ugly firepits. Ive travelled the world and home us still my favorite for adventure and wild pristine beauty 🏴🙌🏻
