Whenever I listen to bloom, especially after seeing this live version, I think..this has to be one of my favorite radiohead songs

If you're on this trajectory then you're going to love A Moon Shaped Pool ❤

The King Of Limbs. TOP 3 Radiohead album. There i said it. Something about it makes me  keep coming back...

Not sure if anyone has commented that the second drummer, Clive Deamer, worked with Portishead. PORTISHEAD. Radiohead have great respect for that band. Would be good to see you react to Live in NYC by Portishead. You wont regret it.

bloom is insane.

Well this was a complete joy.  Thanks so much for a wonderful reaction.

Much as I love In Rainbows, especially from the basement, The King of Limbs has always tickled my brain in a special way.  This basement recording is sublime.

It's not the favorite album of many Radiohead fans, perhaps not surprisingly given it's experimental moments.   Many reactors are shaken off by those moments.   Your deep musical knowledge and experienced ear means you don't struggle with those moments  You seemed to really love it, and your insights and analysis really added something.

I was privileged to have a very to varied musical upbringing, and in my time I've played everything from orchestral percussion in Carmina Burana, to guitar in a modern jazz quintet, with many stops along the way to play folk, blues, rock, even metal.   This album feels like it knows my musical history somehow lol.  It encompasses so many things.

Aaaaaaaanyway....

Thanks again 😊👌

After hearing your story about Charles Ives and dissonance, I think you'll love ''How to dissapear completely'' of Kid A. The dissonance in that song is off the chart. I've been listening to it for 20 years, and I still get goosebumps everytime! Plus, it features Jonny Greenwood playing Ondes Martenots! Please add to the reaction list :)

Bloom may just be the most interesting goddamn song of all time

highly underrated album

“The Daily Mail”, “Staircase” and “Supercollider” were made in the same sessions but didn’t make the album and were released as singles/doubles instead.

I'm glad this resonated with you as it does to me. Bloom and Separator are my faves from this session.

Bloom is a mind blown experience! It confounds people!

‘What Makes Erol Great’ …. He actually listens to music.
My re-reaction to Erol hung over and still hears it!

This show made me realize this is as good as anything they've done. Magical.

The band and other musicians are so locked in.  The mindfulness of worship directed at the THE SONG.

Astounding what more can I say. Great to spend the time listening with you.

Thanks Errol, it’s got to be up there with the best all time live performances. It’s absolute perfection. I’m so glad you did this reaction as I think musically it’s on another level from anything live I’ve seen. It’s something you can watch over and over again

I absolutely LOVE how strong Codex affected you, it’s my favorite song on the album.

This album was not received well initially; it was really cool to see you appreciate it immediately.

The band wanted to explore more rhythms and needed to have Clive Deamer as a second drummer to handle the additional work load.
