WITHOUT QUESTION THE GREATEST FINALE OF ALL TIME😤😤😤

OH MY GOD! Carlie is first reactor who called that Katara kissed him at the end. Mike and Brian were so detailed in the making. Aang kissed her when she didn't want it before, so in the final scene, he doesn't engage or even move closer, but let's her come to him so he knows he's not overstepping again. Such a small detail, but so impactful.

In my opinion, letting Ozai live powerless is a much more fitting punishment than killing him. He gets to live and see Zuko (the son he hates) slowly but surely destroy his legacy and hard work.

Piandao doesn't get enough credit in the final fight to reclaim Ba Sing Se. Dude is a non-bender, fighting overpowered genders from the comet, and WINNING. Such a badass.

Aang was hit in the spot that was keeping his chakras blocked. Yes, Aang was using the Seismic Sense that he learned from toph. They show him using it in the runaway episode when toph and Katara are training Aang.

It's so refreshing when people ACTUALLY understand Azula's character complexity instead of just calling her crazy

Also, the lion turtle was actually mentioned in The Library in book 2. We didn't get any true info, but it was brought up before!

For me, growing up Aang and Zuko were my Goku and Vegeta. This was my #1 go-to show to watch as a kid and probably still is.

The soundtrack during the zuko azula fight hits every time🤩

12:54, after Ozai notices Aang can redirect lightning, he never tries it again.

It's insane how I was waiting for a season and a half Azula's defeat. But when I finally got it, I felt no satisfaction. Just sadness.

I love Carlie’s empathy for Azula, as an older sister it always really hurt me to see Azula go through so much pain and turmoil considering she’s so young and is also a product of Ozai’s treachery. Not to excuse her behavior or justify it, she’s just an amazingly complex character.

36:00 I interpret that scene as Azula hallucinating how she wished her mother would have spoken to her. I think she starts crying after her mom says “I love you, Azula. I do”, because Azula didn’t hear it enough when her mom was there. It’s interesting that at her lowest point, she’s subconsciously craving her mother’s support and love.

Sokka in ep2: you can't fight the firenation with fun!
Sokka in ep60: We've got a very special birthday to celebrate!

ATLA was, is and will forever be the best show that I've watched in my life. This was a fun re-watch with Carlie and Angelo ❤

That shot of Zuko readying himself to redirect Azula's lightning is so epic.

Thank you for choosing Aang Ange, i have seen so many reactions many choose zuko and my boy Aang gets pushed down because zuko having an arc, not realizing both went through same situations but Aang was already an Iroh from start of the show and saw positivity with everything and never gave up on any character of the show
