Motd 90s was the best

I always remember this for some reason I remember Ian Wright scoring and the goal was disallowed

Great contribution from Hansen

Thanks James,
Very entertaining episode of Match of the Day!

17th October 1998

0.25: John Hartson kissing the badge and he left West Ham a couple of months later following a transfer request

Surprised to see Paul Alcock refereeing soon after West Ham's pisstake celebration of his and Di Canio's incident

Jeau Ma Pablion!

When a 0-0 was the first match lol

Chaotic football in  this era, wasn't it?  It really was the "English" way of playing.  Not much passing but plenty of hit and hope, which translated to the national team.

Collymore was pretty much done at this point.  Hartson and Berkovic both sold not long after this.  Lampard and Ferdinand sold too.  😢
