That smaller watercolor palette (Portable Painter Micro) will hold 16 colors if you get the requisite pans from them, and you can hang it around  your neck on a lanyard.  Thanks for all your videos over the years!

Hi Teoh, You are such a great teacher and so dedicated to all of us 'beginners' and sketchers who look to improve. Thanks you for the inspiration and helpful information.

Hi Teoh! it's been almost 6 years since I started watching and admiring your works! I also started an actual class last year and just finished my second sketchbook continuely, thanks a lot for your content!

I just started using those Uniball Air pens recently (for journaling) and they’ve quickly become my favorite all around pens for drawing and writing.

Such a great channel I just found! I’m just an absolute beginner, but I’m trying to start with drawing and urban sketching as a hobby. Thanks for this videos for beginners ❤

I love it!! There's so much energy in this piece! I've always been afraid to go out and urban sketch (See: Self-conscious, worried other people passing by will judge my drawing, etc). This year, I'll try to be brave. It looks so much fun, and in a way, it feels more free.

Fellow Singaporean here... this is a great guide! Your videos have been very helpful to me as someone who's just getting back into urban sketching after a hiatus of more than 10 years!

Thank you for this as I am a beginner.  Love watching your videos for your sketching skill and because i get to see and relive Singapore.  We lived there and love it so much.

Great video Teoh,I like your style as well. Thanks for posting.

January in Minnesota…learn to sketch with mittens on.

I recently found out about what happened to your sketchbooks and I hope that you recover all your sketchbooks one drawing at a time.
Two artists who went through something similar (losing their art) were Ernest Hemingway and Shakira. Both never recover those notebooks and manuscripts but they pulled through that succesfully.
Hemingway published a books such as "Fiesta", "For Whom The Bell Tolls" and "The Old Man And The Sea" which to this day are considered literary masterpieces.
And Shakira made an album called "¿Dónde están los ladrones?" which made her famous in Latin America and even gave her opportunities to get into the international music industry.
So my point with this comment is to encourage you to keep on recovering your artwork. I know it hurst to know that the time spent on those drawings has been erased completely but what really matters is that you still have the pictures to recreate all your art but also those experiences in your mind. And who knows, maybe this could also open new doors for you.
Greetings from the other side of the world, keep on drawing and teaching 🙌✨💙.

Brilliant video, thanks. I love your channel (and urban sketching!).

Thanks for making this video! It's a really nice and relaxed, vibrant style with such a minimal palette. I'm learning a lot from this step by step video, as my natural style would be a lot more stiff. Also, such a cozy vibe you are creating. Greetings from Copenhagen.
