Being an inkling/octoling is better than being a human

I'm sad because Acid Hues Plus was taken down so we can only listen to it here

@sonofacar4230 6 years ago

Funny how there's the sound of rain in the background, yet the inklings and octos would die if they were in it...

Are you from the first generation, heralding the tales of old Inkopolis Plaza like orange or blue? Perhaps you slapped down in Inkopolis Square with the rest of the second generation like pink and green. Or maybe, you came near the end of this amazing game when the octolings crawled out from deep underground. Regardless of whenever you entered, we're glad to have you on the train. Take a seat. ;)

Splatoon was the first thing I bought with my own money as a kid. I bought a wii u, and put all of these little stickers on it. I really miss when the biggest worry in my life was who would win the final fest. This music is truly the sound of my childhood. Getting to see the splatoon 3 reveal got me out of a depressive spiral, and yeah hahah. Callie is why I started theater in the first place, and now i get to do it as a career. Life is crazy sometimes. Team Callie for life!!

I don't think the beauty of Splatoon can ever be recreated, at least by me. This animation does beautifully at recreating the emotional impact of Splatoon. They're all getting along, playing games and smiling on the train..
Sometimes I cry too hard at this stuff.

Y'know, I had a falling out with video games for the longest time. And just a couple of years ago, I had an eppffiny. First, was the great 2d games of 2017. Then, doom, then TF2. And suddenly, I was a bit of a fan of shooting games, something I used to hate. I then looked at my old copy of splatoon 1. I had never got around to play it. But with my new interest in games, I decided to pick it up. No one was playing online so I just had to complete the single player. What great timing I have, huh?

You should do another animation with the four idols together. For example Callie could be chatting with Marina, Marie is setting down drinking tea on the side, and Pearl is sleeping on her bean bag chair. The end of the little video could be Pearl waking up and the others giggling. After that the video could repeat. Its just a thought but I would love to see more of this!
