Getting older can bring more aches and pains, but that doesn't mean you have to accept them.
Jim talks to Ed Voss, a chartered physiotherapist in Stroud with 16 years of NHS and private practice experience. Ed has recently opened his own clinic and will join the Jim's Gym team from August.
In this practical conversation, Ed explains how pain works, why people with the same condition can experience it differently, and why pain doesn't always mean further damage.
They discuss arthritis, recurring injuries, back pain, online diagnoses and strength training. Ed explains how getting stronger can increase the body's capacity, reduce injury risk and help us keep doing what matters.
