Bargaining for EVERYTHING in Bangladesh 🇧🇩

Matt Shoe

In this video I'm on a quest to refresh my wardrobe and for that I came to New Dhaka Market in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

I will buy:
3 T-Shirts
Pants
Shirt
3 Underwear and Socks
1 Watch
2 Rings

All around Bangladesh people tried to scam me and today I will take revenge on that. I will reverse scam everyone by bargaining for all the items I'm buying.

Hope you enjoy this video!

Matt ❤️

Nobody even tried to scam you brother. You got the best deal. As a Bangladeshi sometimes I even feel like I was scammed at that place.
Good luck brother. Enjoy your time.

Luckily, all the sellers asking the real price are not trying to scam you this time. Hope you enjoy Bangladesh and the hospitality of Bangladesh.

In real negotiations, it's not 'I win, you lose' — it's 'I win, you win.' That's how real deals are made

Bro, the sellers didn't try to scam you, the price was actually decent. And don't be offended by the religion thing because Bangladeshi don't judge foreigners or any others based on religion, it's just curiosity that triggered them to ask. Peace ✌️

Most Bangladeshi businessmen are honest. They believe you are guests, so they don’t want to bargain too much with you. I’m surprised by the prices because sometimes we can’t buy at these rates.

These people are just simply trying to make ends meet. In Europe you're to pay $40 for just a shirt. 😢😢😢

3:10 It was quite surprising to see the T-shirt priced at only 200 taka, especially considering that in Bangladesh, it’s rare to find one for less than 250 or 300.
Similarly, pants typically cost around 600 to 700 taka, so getting one for 550 taka along with a cup of tea was indeed a very good deal.❤

3:43 he is a good shopkeeper. It’s an honest price for a single colour t-shirt.

10:00 in Bangladesh is normal for a foreigner to face this question. As most of people in Bangladesh are Muslim and Hindu, people have huge curiosity about others religion. It’s just for people curiosity, nothing else.

9:26 , There's a misunderstand here: the person doesn't know where Lithuania is. He thought it was a Middle Eastern country or he confused your country with Libya. Since Libya has a large Muslim population, he assumed you were Muslim. It is not a big issue so don't worry. This is a way for many Bangladeshis to get to know each other.❤
