Silhouetting subjects is a useful tool for many different photography styles. Here I show you a few examples of how I like to use them around the streets of London. Enjoy!

If I see it’s a video from Alan Schaller I don’t need to read the title. I just click on it and enjoy

Schaller, with camera in tow,
Loves silhouettes, as we all know.
He waits for the light,
Just right, out of sight,
To capture dark forms in a glow.

A bit of, or even a boatload, of humour is a good thing, not a bad thing. Stirred with some useful content, produces an exhilarating combination.

Your poem at the end was clearly inspired by the work of William McGonagall, Poet and Tragedian, 1825-1902.

Alan Schaller, your monochrome sublime...
But behind your sofa, one needs to spend time.
Your images artistic... your wall needs attention...
To finish your painting, I thought I would mention 😂

One of the greatest street photographers working right now. He's reached the "your favorite photographer's favorite photographer" status.

Your work is fantastic and I appreciate your generosity. More importantly, you seem to prioritize fun. That's an important lesson. You have a big, delightful personality, too.
