I like that their checkout cashiers are seated, a nice employee perk.

AND, when you give your cart to a customer entering while you're leaving, it builds a lot of community good will for a mere 25 cents.

Carts are also left available as a "paying it forward " gesture to others.

I have been impressed that Aldi's provides seating for cashiers. When you see a company taking their stff into consideration, I feel secure as a consumer.

Americans want the same quality of food as you supply to Europeans. NO HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SURUP, SEED OILS or BIOENGINEERED FOOD

As a German I am happy to see how well Aldi is received in the US. They are really excellent retailers with a strategy refined in decades.

If you have adhd or visual/sensory overload, Aldi is a great store to shop. Do we really need 17 different kinds of ketchup?! Aldi has 2 or 3. That’s all I need.

I never put my cart back in the rack. As I am leaving the store, I give it to another shopper. I have also had other shoppers give me their cart.

In my neck of the Midwest, a lot of us "pay forward" carts. It's a quarter, 1/4 of a dollar. It's a simple way to be nice.

I have never seen an Aldi store these big.

I do shop at aldi but just because a product is made at the same factory as a major brand doesn’t mean the use the same recipe

Pro level tip. Use a box from the empty box cart to shop with and check out with and just carry your stuff to your car!

My Aldi pro tip is, the best container for my groceries is a box. Since the produce isle is usually the first or second in the entrance path, check the produce boxes to see if any are nearly empty and take one, empty it into the box below it. Or if the employees are working there and have a cage full of boxes, fish out a good one. I prefer these as they are easier to stack things in the cart, and easier to place on the seat of my truck when I'm done. If it's a sturdy box, you can reuse it over and over.

Hate a self checkout, but love to self - pack.

I and my friends each carry 4 quarters in our cars. That way if we decide to go to Aldis on a whim everyone has a quarter. If someone gives you a “free cart” without taking your quarter…always pass it on!

The Aldi I shop at in East Rutherford, NJ does receive it's new arrivals on Wednesday, but they spend the better part of the day opening the boxes, so if you come Wednesday morning you're going to have a long wait until the shelves are stocked. I find Thursday morning is the best option.

I knew my store as well as I knew my own house. Then one day I went in and couldn't find anything. Everything had been moved around. It took me twice as long as it had before. I don't go to the store to play hide and go seek. I was very disappointed.

I shopped at Winco and Aldi. They are across the street from each other where I live both are less expensive than all the other grocery stores even Walmart. I have found that some things are a little cheaper at Winco (employee-owned) and that other things are a little cheaper at Aldi.. Their house brands are both very good..

A couple of years ago, I bought a space heater at ALDI that has out-performed two other brands of space heaters.

I remember when the grocery stores stopped using paper bags and switched to plastic ones. They said, it's better for the environment. We're saving trees. 🤨🙄🤔
