Loving all the explanations.. we are in the middle of doing the same thing.. and you're right there are not any videos of a bardo on a crawl space with piers.. thanks for this series!

Excellent video!

this is a great video on crawlspace encapsulation!

Looking good.  I'm jealous you are getting stuff done and I still haven't really started mine yet. lol

Did you ever end up going back and installing insulation? If so what'd you use in the crawl?

The front of my house is 19” and the back of the house is 24”… maybe I’ll just hire someone lol

AINT AS HARD AS IT LOOKS MY FOOT !!! I got a bid to do my house and thought NAh .. I can do it. HAHAHA . one days under that house takes a month to hael from it . Ive got bruises and pain in places I didnt know I had. even my boobs hurt. ! bruised elbows. knees. ribs. Even my Hips are bruised  And after cleaning out the crawl and fixing a few blocks. installing dehu and sealing vents I am only partially done. Be another two weeks before I heal enough to torture my self again . then 2 more weeks of healing .
What ever they bid to enca[pselate LET THEM DO IT is my advice !   I woulda paid twice what they offered to do it for !

Looks great. In hindsight, would it have been easier to install the vapor barrier before installing the floor system?  Keep up the good work.

A Hilti would have made the trim work much easier.

Thanks for the link, however, there are a lot of products listed on the site.  Which ones did you use for this project?

Is that a pole barn with a crawl space? I'm unfamiliar with the framing you used.

why did you install the joists and osb before the plastic barrier?

Why didn't you just build a 4 or 5 foot crawl space and save a heap of stress.. Would it have cost you more than a few grand?
