I watch a lot of varying sizes of YouTube channels, from Mark Robert and Kevin Talbot and down. I love your channel and hope you make the big time. Great commentary and I appreciate the humor.
Great exercises, great source of inspiration. Exactly what I was looking for as I am starting my RC heli journey with a relatively small heli (XK K130, meanwhile heavily upgraded with metalgear servos and a Jumper t16 Pro transmitter programmed with a nice pitch-curve).
Great series. Thanks for doing this. I have a 230s and a 120. I'm an RC plane guy and these tips are helping me overcome the bad habits of applying fixed wing control inputs on rotary wing flights that led to me losing my first helicopter quite spectacularly.
I can't do nose in. I can't even practice. I like this Heli. I think it's the blade sr230? Is it still available. Is it still in production? I think it's an oldish Heli. What of this size available nowadays
First fly over long grass in a field it breaks the fall lol and get it up fast then bring down then again adjust trim a wheat filed good for crashes but farmer could get upset
In the end you wrote that smaller helis are harder to learn to fly. I as well heard that bigger helis are easier to fly. I already learned orientations stuff on some mini indoor fixed pitch heli and can fly on fast speed with turns and rotations (it's actually fun, hah). Now i want a collective pitch heli and consider to buy Trex 470LP. Would such size be good to learn to fly collective pitch heli or i still need to start from something smaller and just get Blade heli? In some helis forum some person was discouraging me by saying that i need to start from something really small and only step by step get new helis and only later something big.
This Blade 230 V2 is the best heli to learn on. I've been flying mine for over a year.. Just mastering nose in with confidence. Also check out Blade 150 Great little heli also, got'em both. Not worried about 3D flying. Doesn't interest me. Like scale flying, real heli's don't fly like that. Great video.
