Autorotations can be one of the most intimidating things to learn when flying an RC helicopter — but they don't have to be!
In this video, I take you through the basics of performing your first autorotation and showing how to approach it safely.
You don't need to be an expert 3D pilot to start learning autos. The key is to start small, understand what the helicopter is doing, and gradually build your confidence.
If you've been nervous about hitting that HOLD switch, hopefully this video will give you the confidence to give your first autorotation a try!

I will use my M4 Max (420 blades) this season - I want to keep my new SAB 🥰in one piece for now, same like your RS6 😉 I guess.
With throttle off the controller can disable certain precomps and switch to ground decay mode (removes most of the I and O term to prevent tipover). This makes the helicopter more unstable and drifty in the air. It's also required if you want to use bailout.
