In the 70's I volunteered as a tour guide in this house,  15 years old and obsessed with Molly Brown, so much has been added, they were just beginning a restoration and furnishing. The whole block was lined with old Victorian homes. Thanks for the memories

I was a child living in a Denver (Lakewood) suburb, 1964  when my parents took us to see the Debbie Reynolds movie. My family was so taken with the movie that my Dad decided to drive by the house on Pennsylvania. Everyone else living in Denver at the time had the same idea. There was a huge traffic jam of onlookers that lasted at a fever pitch for days. We were thrilled to see the house and now knowing the house would be torn down by now if it were not for the movie makes me so happy to have been a part of that traffic jam of adoring fans.  Also, Molly Brown has a summer house in Lakewood that still stands. It's rented out for special events.

She is buried about 15 minutes away from where I live on Long Island. Whenever I go to the cemetery, I usually stop by her resting place and pay respects. This gives added perspective of the woman I visit.

I volunteered at The Molly Brown house when I was 22 years old in 1977. She was a very interesting lady.

AFTER HER ARRIVAL TO NEW YORK  BY MEANS OF THE RESCUE SHIP "CARPATHIA",    MARGARET  BROWN  TOOK THE TRAIN TO THE WEST BADEN SPRINGS RESORT AND SPA IN WEST BADEN, INDIANA.    SHE RECOUPERATED THERE FOR  SEVERAL PEACEFUL WEEKS  IN THE EFFORT TO REST FOLLOWING HER TRAGIC EXPERIENCE ON THE "TITANIC"!    ONCE SHE FELT ADEQUATELY RESTORED AND REFRESHED,  "MOLLY" THEN CONTINUED HER JOURNEY ONWARD TO DENVER.

Born and raised in Denver, Colorado , this is my favorite history here. The movie was not her real story. In one of the ghost hunts there, Margaret (Molly) was asked if she was happy that she was buried next to JJ..She said no very clearly. Her children did that. They were involved in lengthy lawsuits against her for all the money she was donating. Love your posts Jordan!!

I’m from Denver 70 yrs.  Know this house and history well.  In today’s world…it seems small inside….yet…Their day…HUGE.  Haunted?  I’ve not ever experienced it.  Been many times.

Her and her house were absolutely amazing

A wonderful house tour. The movie may be entertaining, but the true story of her life is just as fascinating, especially that she was an accidental passenger on “Titanic”.

This was wonderful - a really enjoyable tour.  Once more, the guide was great - not only knowledgeable, but clearly fond of the house and its history.  Jordan, we truly appreciate all the work you put into bringing these fabulous places into our living room.
Many, many thanks.❤

Thank you Jordon!  I wouldn't be able to see this if not for you.❤

I went through the Molly Brown House with my parents back in 78' when I was about 8 years old.  I can actually remember going through the house.  I hope to return someday.  Thank you for the memories (or what memories I have). Greetings from Washington state!! :)

🤩Lived in DENVER FOR 30 YRS...never been to the house.   THANKS for the tour!🤩

My husband's relative died on the Titanic, third class, 21 years old, coming from Norway, in route to the town where I live. The picture of his parents is in my front room.
I've been in the Molly Brown house many years ago, a sense of Molly is still in the home.

You should visit Hannibal Missouri, where she was born and lived for the first part of her life. They still have her original home.

This one of my favorite tours u have ever done - I absolutely LOVE The Unsinkable Molly Brown & Kath Bates in The Titanic - it’s great to know she did a lot of community service with her &❤

Love it, love it, love it!  Thank you Jordan for another great one!❤❤🐾🐾

As usual when you do historical tours, I learned something new.  Thanks again, Jordan

Wow.  Thanks Jordan.   Must say how disrespectful that couple were sitting on the furniture/stairs etc.   🇬🇧

Don’t know if you’re still in the area, but you should go out to Leadville where the JJ and Molly Brown story started. The church they were married in it’s still operational. Benjamin Guggenheim also lived in Leadville, and his house is still there. He didn’t make it off the Titanic.
