Funny how the thumbnail gets more hate than the house gets attention.

The Heritage Manor had a magical charm to it when I was a kid. My family would spend a weekend there about once a year when I was growing up. I remember my brother and I running around the manor and exploring every room and corner every time we’d stay. It was like a different experience each time. One of the rooms was recently added, a big bedroom and bathroom, near the end of the owners life, AJ Rexroat. AJ and his wife pieced together  the house, repaired, added, and maintained it. You can find an old article about it, “Bed and Breakfast Inn Goes Out of the Way to Please Visitors” - The Oklahoman, 1990. Carolyn and AJ were two of the kindest people you could meet. We had birthdays there and my sister had her wedding reception there as well. Many memories were made there that I’ll forever cherish. It saddens me to no end seeing the Heritage Manor like this.

I have several autoimmune disease & am chronically ill. I can't work & don't get out at all, except to bus to the grcery store.
So these kinds of channels keep my mind & heart alive ❤

I found an article from The Oklahoman dated Jan. 7, 1990 about this property when it was a Bed and Breakfast; it talks about some of the unique features: "Bricks from an old ice plant, stained glass windows in the kitchen from an Enid business school, pieces of the banister from Enid's Carnegie Library, windows from the Frisco Bar, a door that once locked up the Helena jail are shown to tourists. A bathroom sink sits on piano legs; bookcases were once display shelves in an Aline drugstore." Such a sad ending.

This must have been a breathtakingly beautiful house in its day .

I think the fact that they felt like they had to lock up those tapes and the two way mirrors and all of the bedrooms....I think those tapes can talk.

I've read the home was a Bed & Breakfast with museum-like collections, old pump organs, 5000 volume library, and more. Outside animals consisted of Scotch Highland Cattle, a Longhorn  steer, donkeys, horses, pigs, amusement, and more. Waterfall in the atrium and the suspension bridge led to two roof top decks and a widows walk. Also, the B&B was made up of 3 separate homes made into 1 beautiful B&B.

I absolutely love this house. ❤❤❤❤❤. I'd love to buy it and renovate and restore its to it's original form. Absolutely beautiful. One if not i think the best house I've ever seen on urban exploring. Ty for this. Just a gorgeous house and property.

For some place so remote, the punks clearly found it.  This place rivals the Sarah Winchester house, someone should restore it and open it as a Historic attraction.   The owner was clearly an eccentric millionaire.

Its a real shame how that place is just wasting away like that.

Drawbridge is a bridge between worlds.

I would say the "jail cell" was actually a safe. They kept important stuff and valuables there where it couldn't be stolen when the door was locked.

The thing in the basement was a yoke,i think the basement was an old western themed bar,hence the jail and western decor

It is like a fancy tree house out in nature.

The murals in the kitchen cabinets, are gorgeous. The architecture skill is amazing. The money invested in this building is so immensely insane.

It's a shame the place has been vandalized. What a wonderful structure

This place was nuts. Like if a fever dream was a house. So that Singer sewing machine reminded me of back in the day, my parents would check out the abandoned camps over on the Ponchartrain off Haynes and uh well my momma found a beautiful Singer machine that is still in the family.

The Native Americans had a saying, "Pass over the land like the shadow of a cloud ". So sad many people of today can't embrace that mentality, that respect for nature, and for fellow human beings!

How can such a beautiful place be vandalised.
