I love the board with the checks! It turned out lovely. And the finial is gorgeous

The decorative finial is my favorite…magnificent makeover!

Leave the board as is.  It is beautiful!❤~Lisa Alberson

I love the checks leave it as is❤

Cathy, they are all so pretty! I really love how the board with checks turned out! Sometimes, what we think are mistakes are just part of the process of creating 😊

You need to stop being so nervous and disappointed in yourself,  everything you’re doing is lovely. Most of the DIYers call their work perfectly imperfect, imperfections often make a piece more unique. I really loved the first board that you did and that finial. I truly appreciate the fact that you did not paint over the hand-painted kitten Plaques! They were very nicely done, and perfect for a little girls room!

I have a brilliant suggestion for your brushes I learned from a professional painter and it didn't only save me work cleaning my brushes it saved me having to replace so many of them... just like you i had a container full of water but I replaced it with murphy oil soap concentrated formula and omg hassle free brush cleaning just rinse them and you get new and conditioned brushes... worth trying... and thank you for your video i absolutely loved your bottle ❤!!!

I really enjoyed your video today.  I think the first project turned out great all it needed was those additional transfers.  My favorite is the finial that you did the MacKenzie Childs style on so beautiful.

I love the first one!

Beautiful work love watching

My favorite piece is the fennel...so beautiful  with the squares and the colors you chose.❤❤❤❤great job on your projects.  I like the 1st project you did as well. The extra transfers did the trick.....❤❤

All of ur projects were fabulous. U r too hard on urself, as many of us are. My favs were the 2nd 1 with the pear and the finials. Both are ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! Keep on keepin on! We will be here watching! (I hoard my transfers too. They r deserving of the perfect piece to display their artistic perfection 😂 Love me some IOD!)

I like watching paint dry. Things only a crafter would say 😂 btw, the first project was perfect in the end

I was so surprised to hear you talking about hanging on to transfers I thought I was the only one 🤣🤣🤣 I do it with paint inlays too. You are right just need to use them...well maybe one day.
Loved all you're projects Cathy you are truly talented ❤

I love the florist plaque.  I'll take it if you don't want it.😉  I love McKenzie Childs everything.

I really think your first project is just great as is' !!  I love it❤
I'm really glad I'm a subscriber❤

I just came across this video and loved your pieces so I subscribed. Your first piece looks so much like a McKenzie-Childs piece and I love her work. The finial is beautiful and also reminds me of McKenzie-Childs; I love it. The kitten pictures are adorable. The pear picture is really pretty.

Leave it as is.

Milk paint is generally used in cases where both crackle and chipping is the goal.

I think it's beautiful. Leave as is.

They all turned out great Cathy but the finial was the real surprise the way you reimagined it!  It looks amazing!  I’m glad you didn’t paint over those sweet cats!  People do love this style again.  The check project came out great!  You don’t have to seal milk paint before you put transfers on . They go on really well. No need for clear wax before the dark antique oil. Just put the dark oil on, leave it for 10-15 min and wipe off. I love milk paint!  I haven’t done as much as I would like though
Now if you want to break the checks a bit you can add a butterfly or flower or an insect on them to give more interest if you like but now you put the oil on so it might come out unless you clean the spot with mineral spirits.
Great work on everything my friend!
