A Blizzard GM account was recently caught helping players cheat in-game, but this video looks at the part I found most interesting: what did it actually look like from the GM’s perspective?

Instead of just recapping the drama, I recreate the GM side of it using a local Classic setup on my own PC and show how GM accounts, commands, and abilities work behind the scenes.

We’ll look at the Area Death test ability, GM spell menus, teleport commands, flying, speed changes, NPC spawning, item creation, monster fights, and some of the tools Game Masters can use.

Then I give my take on the situation from three angles: Blizzard, the players involved, and the GM himself.
