When I learned about the interlocking chain principle, I actually independently came up with almost this exact trick and fooled some of my magician friends. I searched it up on Conjuring Archive and found the original version of this trick was called “The Premo” by Charles Jordan, who I believe is the person who originally discovered, or at least published, the principle back in 1919 in 30 Card Mysteries. He originally took some risks by letting the spectator riffle shuffle (or dovetail shuffle as it was called back then) the cards three times. That’s just some interesting history I wanted to share, because I actually researched this myself a bit. Anyways, great video as always, peace!

I foresee a problem...
Me: You picked a spade or a diamond, yes?
My grandchildren: It might have been.

Awesome trick. I feel like it puts a lot of faith in the spectator not to do a clumped riffle shuffle.

Love the new intro!
(I don't know how long you've had it but it's new to me).
Also, great trick! 👏

The double out is the safer way to peform this trick, even if you find it. The "Is this your card?" patter is hilarious if you get it wrong and then can perform any other slight of hand with the actual card.

someones been cooking

0:11 a magician might fool me with magic😮

Hey Nathan I love your tricks, Ive watched your channel for a long time now and fooled many people with your tricks. I recently came up with my own trick and would love to share it with you, anyways cya.

Superbe.
Bravo et merci.

brilliant

The problem is that if the spectator asks us to do the magic trick again, then doing this setup will get us caught

Please tell me, is there any other way to figure out whether my spectator chose heart, spades... Etc? Idk but for some reason the way you showed us seems suspecious to me. Or maybe it's just my point of view.🤔

But what made 2 cards end up out of place? One was their displacement, but why was there also another card out of place? Also de Ace of Hearts was out of place

Deck collection please

Can someone please tell me what the deal is on the magic book: DeSouza's DeCeptions The Magic of Marc DeSouza??? I tried to find a pdf online, but its like it bareley existed!?

I noticed the sweater so had one quick question- how do you do tricks in the winter? Honestly, my hands just become so cold and numb that a lot of sleights become soo difficult.

What about a overhand shuffle??

Sick guitar

Didn't realize as you stated that riffle shuffle could preserve the order as you pointed out. Why didn't you use the chased sequence instead you did reds and blacks separately....it would been more confusing for the spectator....no?

does it work with overhand shuffle aswell? my friend did (this?) trick an i overhand shuffled them
