10/10

I did it to my little sister (11) and she went around the house exclaiming, “She’s got voodoo magic!”

My father and grandmother knew I had to know what the card was somehow but couldn’t figure out how I did it. Loved it

this is definitely the best magic channel on YouTube
thank you keep it up

Great trick, thank you. I have a variation for the ending, that I like better, since a friend I showed it to said she could feel it was just one card under her hand the whole time and not four. First, make it five cards instead of four, include the one you look at first and they have to guess wether you lied, then you show them those five cards and distract with talking (for example: look at those cards, I guess your selection is not one of them). During that distraction load their selected card to the bunch from behind as shown in the video (here is where I peek that card also btw, not before). Then square all those 6 cards up (they think it's 5, their selection is secretly on top) and put them down, have them put their hand on them and say you wanna try something later with those cards or whatever. (...) After you "guessed" their card, say: now back to those cards under your hand, let me try something.. take those cards, pretend to shuffle them controlling their selection from the top to the bottom (easily) and tell them to say stop whenever they wish. Ask them to hold them in a tight grip between thumb and knuckle, count to three, slap the cards down, there will be one left in their hand and it will be their selected card.. 😱 I love it

it's binary maths. 8 is 2^3, which is why 3 "tests" are required. works with 16 cards and 4 tests, 32 cards and 5 tests

Just love these lie detector type effects they leave a huge impact on my audience ❤

"Think of one of these cards"

"Ok, 9C"

"For the sake of this video, we'll just use one card (9C)"

"WHAT THE FU-"

It's always nice to see you uploading a video. Keep it up Nathan!

Sweet trick! Not just as a whole, but as a gateway to any improvisation.

A lot to remember, but well worth the effort. Thank you, and please keep them coming. TOB.

just amazing as always  easy to do and a cool effect

Great trick as always. When u disappeared some time before, it was rlly scary but u’ve gotten way more consistent. Keep it up❤

Very clever :) I think I would perform it with a different ending since the card under hand breaks the narrative of lie detection, and that's such a nice story feeding into another mentalism type effect

First.....love this trick 💯💯

I love this! Great trick!

Just a note for myself/My variation:

During the "guessing" of the four cards, slide the top card (spectators card) down at the bottom. When done, place the four cards on top for your deck and hand the spectator the other one. Let him shuffle the deck and explain, that he should turn over cards and with that "guess" their card, or almost guess their card. Leave maybe 3 possible cards and then ask the spectator to turn over the last card, which is going to be used as a number (Jack = 11, Queen = 12, King = 13, Ace = 1). With their card at the bottom use the gilde(?) to hold back their card and count the number which was randomly choosen. At last their card appears at the exact number. "So your card, the [NAME OF THE CARD], is at the [NUMBER]"

Just a variation, I don't want to forget :)
Very cool effect!

This is a really cool trick, and one of the longest tricks I've learned so far, thanks Nathan for being amazing🔥🔥

I also have a cool variation to the end part: I think its cooler to get the spectators phone than use their hands to hold the card.

This is amazing!

Great trick. Thanks for sharing

Awesome trick!

Very good trick well done!
