SPINOZA DISCOVERED IT! These 5 Religions Are a Complete Lie!

Spinoza's philosophy

What if the God you've been taught to believe in was never about truth—but about control?

In this thought-provoking exploration of Baruch Spinoza's philosophy, we examine five major religious traditions through the lens of one of history's most controversial thinkers. Exiled by his own community and condemned by religious authorities, Spinoza challenged the very foundations of organized religion with a radical idea: God is not separate from nature—God is nature itself.

From Judaism and Catholicism to Protestantism, Anabaptism, and Deism, discover why Spinoza believed these traditions all shared the same fundamental mistake. Was religion created to reveal truth, or to manage humanity's relationship with the unknown?

Whether you agree with Spinoza or not, his arguments continue to challenge believers, skeptics, and philosophers more than 400 years later.

Watch until the end and decide for yourself: Was Spinoza a heretic, or was he centuries ahead of his time?

My late father was an elder in the Dutch Reform Church (NG kerk) and when asked by the preacher why I am not in church every Sunday he said religion is a personal thing between a believer and his God, ie it is my business, not his, asmy father, or any one else's. I loved him for that.

I am 87 years old. I have all my life believed in exactly the way Spinoza has described what is God. I never followed any man made rituals and what priests commands. I have lived all my life believing in nature, universe as God itself. I enjoyed your presentation very much.

Spinoza's philosophy makes me view all religions differently now.

I am 77 and grateful to my parents for not requiring me to believe in any religion. This caused me to explore religion widely. I was introduced to the bible at 12 and studied it for 2 o 3 year. I was even lemarnt the position taken by 7th Day Adventist as well as the
version of the bible taken by the Jehovah Witnesses. I am inclined to tale the philosophical position of the Taoist texts,
Finally i am also jn agreement with the position taken by Einstein and Spinosa.

I first heard the name of Spinoza, when I read somewhere that Einstein in response to a question said he believed in the God of Spinoza. But, frankly speaking, despite the intense his answer invoked, I could not find time to read about Spinoza s' philosophy. But this is the first time that I had the chance to listen to the philosophy of Spinoza in a beautiful, simple and lucid way. But more than that, after listening to the talk for 40 minutes I was happy to say to myself: this the way I have lived for the last 85 years because I never believed in miracles or observed rituals. Thank you for sharing this valuable talk.

The iconic “Self-Made Man” or “Man Chiselling Himself” sculpture at Akshardham (specifically in the Sahajanand Hall / Hall of Values at the Delhi or Gandhinagar complex).ttimD“LARGE”
It symbolizes the profound idea that we are the stone, the chisel, the sculptor, and the creation — all one and the same. Man shapes his own destiny through effort, self-discipline, and inner transformation. The quote often associated with it is: “Man is the maker of himself” or “You are the stone, You are the chisel, and You are the sculpture.” You are the ( manifestation of) God .
This powerful piece is part of the exhibitions highlighting Swaminarayan’s teachings on values, perseverance, and self-realization. It’s a highlight for many visitors!

Spinoza was a great philosopher, out of his time

I wish he had lived to the 19th century to meet Chidambaram Ramalingga Valallar, the scientific immortal who made the same conclusions, went further to achieve the human goal and spelled the path to immortality. His Jeevakarunya Ollukkam - Soul Gain Discipline paved the path to the one God of Natural Reality. Spinoza's philosophy perfectly marries into this later day incarnation of Bharat.

This is exciting. This man is exactly what I believe. Spinoza is identical to me . Things that happen to him has happen to me. I'm a mathematician who study quantum physics. My family has done to him what my family has done to me. But my familhas done one other thing . I took my kids from me. The government has help them. The government has concluded that I'm crazy because I think different from everyone else. Since I'm crazy my family has taken my 3 kids from me because I been using quantum physics for 30 years. This person have changed my life. I never knew someone thinks like me. Thank you. Love everyone unconditionally.

Indeed, discovery of truth is freedom.

If someone tells you to believe in A B C or read their spiritual book and you don't believe it, it's not your fault.... the truth lies in your experiences with the Divine ❤❤❤😊

In 1656 - the year Spinoza was expelled from his Jewish community - there was a young preacher traveling around England expressing ideas very similar to those of Spinoza. His name was George Fox, and the people who began following him often called themselves "Friends of Truth." The movement he started splintered into a number of competing groups, many of which had leaders who were as authoritarian as the Anabaptists, but most of these groups have now come together as The Religious Society of Friends - and are usually known as Quakers. I'm wondering of Spinoza knew of Fox or ever mentioned this English religious leader in his writings.

Problem is that political control disturbed the reality

His ideas were already famous in Tamilian society 1000years back

Spinoza is a thinker , a philosopher in the pantheon of human intellectuals who enriched the human collective thought . His philosophy has made it possible to question issues, to reach such conclusions that enhance our own perceptions . We need not subscribe to those ideas but to embrace them as a tool to ameliorate our understanding .

When young I felt atttarcted to Einsteins thinking. Now that I learned about Spnoza, I am even more attracted to his perceotion of universe as god. I have never been a religious person in a traditional sense. I have experienced God in a simlar way as Spnoza, but have not been explai myself to others in a way they would understand. I have.had to say I`m a spiritual person, not religious. Vedoc philosophy and Tibetan Buddhism attract me.

Pantheism was the dominant religion of pre-civilisation before the rise of monotheism, which became the new world order. In today's world, we are far too alienated from nature to embrace or empathise with pantheistic spirituality. A spiritual tragedy IMO.

Trying to wake people up from the brainwash religion is like trying to wake people up to flat earth

Very insightful indeed. What i cant reconcile right now is why the wars, the killings, the deceit, and all those we call "evil" things that a human can do to other human. If the universe and nature itself is god, then am i right to say that god does not care at all to all of these? Or since these, again, evil or bad things or whatever u call them committed by a person to another person , by nation to another, diseases, famine, etc. if these are continuously happening can we say that the universe or nature or as this video termed it as god does not care at all or its like saying that life itself does not care at all and will just continue its course? If god is in us or we are one with god or we are god, does it mean that the circumstance that we are in now is the failure of us realizing that "truth" the we are gods in our own? and we failed to realize this since we are put in a box called religion? Thanks.
