THANK YOU...
For the most part, I leave God alone. I figure he's busy enough, with far greater matters, than the ridiculous drama, in my life. I pray & thank God for the many blessings & gifts, BUT... those gifts & blessings coukd also be credited to the actual human life, around me. But then....
One day, I came to the front, at church. The pastor asked what I wanted 'in prayer', and I said 'The Truth'. Since I was a CHILD, I have had suspicions about 'The Bible'. So many parts within it, simply don't make any sense. ...they aren't logical. ....and the proverbial ball began rolling.
Since that day in church, when I asked for prayers 'for the Truth', SO MUCH INFORMATION has come to me, otherwise unsolicited.
Historical Information; more than 'events', but details about Kings, Cardinals, Bishops... the INDIVIDUAL people who had the power and the ability to 'alter/edit' the Bible.
Since I dove down that rabbit hole, I have discovered a little over 700 'high placed' persons who infact HAVE done jyst that; they altered the 'One Book of Directions & Control', to align with THEIR debaucherous lifestyle.
Well... in order for me to 'locate' those areas of the bible, that those individual people may have altered/edited, I had to do a bit of a CSI research on History's 'most rotten'; get as complete of a 'background' on each of the names.
ALL the Historical Evidence... NAMES of individuals, and SOMEHOW ccrossing paths with a 'Bible Collector', and getting to COMPARE verses, between 7th Century, 8th, 9th, 10th, 12th... and so on.
Edgar Allen Poe was 'dead-on accurate' without even knowing it, when he wrote, " Oh what a Tangled Web we weave, when FIRST, we Practice to Deceive".
Henry VIII, had parts of the bible altered, to suit his lifestyle, WITHOUT even knowing that King James, before him, had done the same thing.
Upon my discoveries, I had the opportunity to 'share' my findings with my 'Ladies Bible Study' group. Rather than hearing what I wanted to share, with open minds, I was attacked, JUST SHORT of physical violence. An 'eye-opening' experience. 'THIS' is Christianity. Put enough 'candy coating' on a turd, and even CRAP is edible.
On my journey, ALONE, and I have never felt closer to God. I was blessed to have a few, VERY WISE teachers in High School; one in particular taught his classes what 'research' actually IS... an English Teacher who put us to reading books, "To know the Author" as well as the story that they wrote. One year, I got to take Shakespeare, from a Teacher who LOVED his class SO MUCH, he always came to class in Shakespearian Attire. He taught the class, as a language teacher would teach 'language'; common words, phrases, all the 'Thee, Thou, Widst, Whilst' words that are LOST in today's grammar & diction. ....then I learned that Shakespeare was ALIVE & WELL in the days of King James, but the two versions of the same language, are in fact, NOT THE SAME. The Bible's KJV has been altered/ edited SINCE the Reign of King James.
I have learned the truth behind 'Sacrifices & Tithings'.. A little slip-up that 'the church' missed in one of it's MANY post productions.
A couple months ago, I learned about 'Spinosa', and found the information intriguing enough, to buy the book on his studies, findings & observations.
I guess.... if you're content to follow 'the blind', you can be an active part of "The Blind Leading the Blind". If you prefer to reach deeper, and want to KNOW the Author... it is but a prayer away.
