I haven't been to space, but I did work in Imagery at NASA in Houston. I cataloged video from the ISS and to answer your question about getting into the space suits, it takes about an hour to just get in and even longer to pressurize into the suit for being in the vacuum of space. It also takes the help of another astronaut just to get in and out of all the different pieces of the suit. But that wouldn't make for very fun gameplay. 😅

does any one else find that it doesn't matter what jack plays but the fact that he is playing anything is what makes it good, much love Jack <3

Ah yes, Samsara. The suffering of endless rebirth. Definitely a ✨great ✨ place to be for the holidays!

1:02 'Is that the universe or our brain?" Yes

It sounds like Cromby was a rat (rat king) when he arrived. I think jack let loose the experement on this one

'Do not remove main cable while the simulation is running'
Sean: removes the main cable

Archaeologist here with a couple of comments: at 35:49 Seán is correct. The architecture of this part of the hotel appears heavily Indo-Islamic inspired, of which the Taj Mahal is a fantastic example. The Taj Mahal represents, specifically, the most famous Indo-Islamic style - Mughal architecture. However, at 42:37 the pictures displayed around Izaan actually look much more like imagery from ancient Mesopotamia, specifically the way rulers and deities were depicted during the Assyrian period. The building shown in the picture “Izaan and the Vision” even has the whole ziggurat vibe going on, which was probably one of the most famous building/architecture types of ancient Mesopotamia. The bottom layer of the building in that picture of Izaan looks like it was inspired by what remains of the famous Ziggurat of Ur.

When I heard blood of Izaan my mind immediately went "yeah that's a cult. A particularly deathy seeming cult since they said their previous dead leader was "resting" not dead.

this main voice actress put in WORK, holy.
that scream before crashdown??

Samsara is the wheel of rebirth in Indian mythology. It’s got a lot to do with going through karmic cycles. However, there are levels where you aren’t reborn and just cycle through Samsara endlessly and I feel like that’s where we’re going. I’m so IN ❤

I love the detail of her chipped maybe bitten off nail polish such a lovely touch

This game looks absolutely awesome. Also, that "welcome to samsara" speech had so many cult red flags, just right there in a few lines, lol. I love it

Samsara is Sanskrit for the universe (literal translation) and means the experience of being in the physical world’s cycle of birth, life, death and rebirth

Aditi also comes from Sanskrit, cool to see some representation in these games :”)

So like- all the writing and audio around Dr. Crombie before you help him shows the established method to get someone out of the simulation is to cut the wires and pull the main cable. That's not what the wetware Crombie instructs. 👀 There was also a note stateing Dr. Crombie had a deteriorating mental state. 👀
I'm invested. Excited for this game!

The sound design is insane. I felt like I was at the theatres during that shuttle crash

31:55 "chips for brains" sounds like an insult you'd give to a gambler

Jack continuing to get so many amazing Voice Acting roles, and then getting to show us an exclusive look of the game he is acting in.
Super cool!

I don't know if it's different for the doors or not, but the bar to open the door when Jack found the guy getting experimented on has dots on it.  It's Braille and spells out "grip."  Such a cool little detail!

I love the detail that the rats all twitch simultaneously when he gets emotional.
I also love that they lead you toward one solution at first, but there's also plenty of signs that you should've done the opposite.
I am guessing it is also possible to just completely fail and kill them both, in which case I'm guessing you just awkwardly loot the body.

JAAACK! YOU PUT THE RAT KING CROMBIE IN THE REAL CROMBIE!
