Im 28 now and i remember every word from this as a kid.

Memories! Was about 6 when my dad got this for me on vhs, the chemical bit used to freak me out 😂 still 20 years later applied for the LFB

20+ years later watching this and I still get shivers down my spine watching all the fire engines responding to the airport training drill

Oh my god!!! Childhood memories are back, I've missed these soo much thank you. I had this and Awesome Tanks on video, could not get enough of watching then over and over gain :-)

I googled, and luckily enough this was the top result. I can't believe I've found this after 20+ years!

This video and my memories linked to it, remind me of Christmas. Maybe 96, or 97, year or two after it was released, I got this as one of my presents. Probably drove my parents crazy watching it on repeat on Xmas day!

I certainly found it inspiring, though life led me to join the Ambulance Service rather than the Firies. Worked alongside Fire & Rescue many times and always found them impressive and inspiring

Finally, I found it
I was little by vhs
I never forgotten it

Crazy memories im 25 now and i remember watching this on VHS when i was very young just showed my little boy it cos he likes fire engines cant believe its still on here🤣

I used to watch this as a child, the chemical but used to scare me...weird how things change.

Im 30 now and i had this on video when i was younger. So much nostalgia right now!

Thank you for uploading this. I was gutted when I lost the VHS of this. Glad I can watch it again.

Loved watching this as a child in the very early 00s. Now 33 and couldn't help but watch it for nostalgia sake 😊

So Leicester Central had 2 pumps, 2 aerials and a command unit back then?! Only 2 stations in the UK have 2 aerials today!

Jesus this has came up randomly and I remember I had this on VHS haha

I remember watching this with my grandad and uncle before my bed I love watching these firefighting videos as I was inspired by my grandad to be a firefighter when I'm older I'm nearly 18 and I will never get bored watching this. John your video about you joining the fire service in 1985 had made me more confident and not scared to do the job that my grandad was doing before he retired I was a cadet and that made me feel like I was doing the real thing its really amazing watching different fire services but you have inspired me John linden hope other people feel the same as I do

No way have I just seen this omg I watched this on video over and over as a child loved it fk me I feel old

The three Mega Machines tapes were my childhood.
The tanks one was my favourite, then diggers and fire trucks.
Didn't even know there was a police one until 7-10 years ago.

When he hears that Fire Bell chum, Fireman Sam is there on time.

Ive got this on VHS and I used to watch this religiously. Good times

I always wanted the airport fire engine since I was a boy

Been looking for this for years. Thanks.
