19:55 Goya Resort, my favourite of the 6 places I stayed in Bali. I think maybe some viewers will not understand why there are so many 5 star resorts in this street. It's because on the other side of these resorts there is a valley with jungle, basically untouched by humans. Great views, infinite pools etc.
I read that biggest problem for locals is if their green zone land (farming) is zoned as yellow or pink (for tourism), because every higher zone means higher tax. And it becomes completely impossible for them to pay that tax by growing rice. Since they don't have money to invest themselves in the business, they are forced to sell. Or, if they are lucky and they have a lot of land, they can sell a part of it and invest into their own business with the money they got. So I think subsidies could be one way, and the other way maybe something to do with the taxes.
Yes they’re expensive but very good I don’t wore them I always buy my in Ubud fipper store get 2 pair wore them all time since I’m from California even went rains too 👍😎.. I miss Bali … @ home has been very hot 38C. 😥😥 thanks Krisna
The real Birkenstock sandals cost around 2 million rupiah. They're made in Germany and have a very good footbed. They last forever. People with 'bad' feet benefit from such a footbed, but if you have healthy feet and not much money, you might as well buy fakes or another brand.
