Hi all and welcome to my channel.

Today I wanted to run through a few things relating to the van, from doing an external and interior tour, the negatives (there’s not many in my personal opinion), the questions I have been asked and what I have planned for the coming months.

Vehicle Details - Elddis Whirlwind GTV 563 (Auto)

Vehicle Specifications - 2.2 litre, 140 HP, 8 speed automatic engine (you can get it in a six speed manual which is approx 2.3k cheaper) and vehicle is built on the chassis of a Peugeot Boxer Van.

No, you are not 'too young' but, you have purchased a van at a time when the 'powers-at-large' have decided the only place you can park up at night, is in an incredibly expensive camp-site. Even though your lovely van is fully self comtained, the days when you could park up just about anywhere are long gone.

Do you find any noise/rattling from the interior when driving, I have very similar looking van (Sunlight Cliff X 640) and there are a few rattles to sort out.

I think you might be a bit neurotic with the negatives except for the shower curtain. Could you get some waterproof wall coverings

Great video with lots of food for thought. Can I ask, when you open the bathroom door does it hit the kitchen worktop or is it narrow enough to be able to open up fully?

The 563 is great. I put a larger freezer in mine to store mackerel and you wouldn't even notice. Does yours smell of fish sometimes too?

Too young? You look over 30 so if im right that would make you middle aged ffs. Nice van imho. Im old so i wouldn't dump my t5 now because being old i dont see the point on spending out too much on a vehicle given govt policy re parking. Xx
