This is a record of street photography in Namba, Osaka, in the morning.

While I usually use a 50mm focal length for street photography, for this video I deliberately imposed a "35mm constraint" on the field of view.

Compared to 50mm, 35mm captures a wider area, physically increasing the amount of information contained within the frame. This significantly changes how the background is handled, how space is perceived, and the sense of distance to the subject.

In the video, I objectively verbalize and explain the thought process during shooting, detailing the inspiration I received on location due to this change in field of view, and how I translated that into a logical composition.

Please use this as an objective guide to the benefits of using a different lens (focal length) than usual, and as a benchmark for street photography with a 35mm field of view.
