Considering everything that's come out about Hollywood in the last 3 years, shoplifting is practically endearing.

I love how obsessed everyone was with Winona in the 1990s and early 2000s.

I feel bad that she had to always be followed with security because of the growing nut jobs who were obsessed with her. No wonder celebs eventually have a melt down. And the media claimed she was kleptomatic but never went into detail of what she was really going through.

Celebs are people at the end of the day. The constant hounding, harassment and stalking has got to take a mental toll on you.

I fell in love with Winona in "Girl Interrupted". That is a terrific movie. Both Brittany Murphy and Angelina Jolie are magnificent-- as is Winona, of course

It's time that Winona Ryder deserves an Oscar.

While growing up, she suffered several trauma,.. (bullying, changing schools and again bullying.. a near death experience (by almost drowning), and dealing with sexual predators in the industry etc.
Luckily she found Tim Burton in the industry.
Like Johnny Depp once said, in his perfect world, he'd only work with Winona and Tim Burton.

Imagine what might have happened, if the media would have left this couple some privacy? (instead of inventing rumors, including cheating scandals etc.)
Both fell into a dark whole after they split up... And it's telling that Winona was one of the first who rushed into the public, defending Johnny.

beetlejuice and edward scissorhands were huge mainstream blockbusters, as were dracula, alien resurrection, and so on. nothing obscure about being in some of the biggest movies of the time.

i've appreciated her my whole life. She's one of my all time favzzzz

Winona will be remembered as an artistic actress with no use for the media or Hollywood's approval.
That alone makes her irresistibly appealing as a person.

i know that she’s an incredibly private person these days (for good reason) but i would love if she wrote a memoir. she’s seems so fascinating and intelligent and i would love to hear about her life from her perspective.

she's a child of the universe as well and has her path, we all have our story. i wish her luck and peace.

I loved this documentary on Winona. I have always loved her edgey dark side merged with a radiant earth angel. She's unique and special. Thank you for making this film.

How interesting her godfather has ties to MK Ultra and she is in a show that seems to be based on it.

Well done Tezz, kept me interested the whole way through. I appreciate how Wynona sticks with her craft and seams to approach her life as being curious and always searching. I appreciate how she bounced back after stumbling at times. Much respect to her....thanks for the presentation.

I've never seen such a sad collection of comments in my life. I weep for humanity.

@sarahal-e.5389 3 years ago

No one talks about her movie with Richard Gere, Autumn in New York.. She was so captivating.

She's an amazing actress! I'm watching "Stranger things, her performance is impeccable. Her love 4 her son cannot be over shadowed. She plays the mom & she's so convincing that I wish I had a mother like her. U would think that the actor who played her child, really was her child.
