With Nobunaga’s Ambition, you too can convert a midlife crisis into a medieval crisis

Another banger how does he do it

Came for nobunaga's ambition, stayed for the horrific stories of how the education systems fails us all

Believe it or not, but training one’s star generals to become indomitable warriors & strategists is also a… Princess Maker-like.

This is a character study disguised as a persuasion piece, and I say this with the utmost respect and astonishment

"just a simple strategy game."

As a teacher, I need you to know: you were not a “bad” teacher, and you weren’t “too nice.” A school’s culture is determined from the administration down, and if the admin sucks and doesn’t have your back, you can’t be surprised when the students act like assholes.

I guarantee you probably had a positive impact even on the kids that hated you.

oh this is why you kept nobunaga posting for so long on bluesky

"I don't presume to teach - I've already failed in that pursuit - but if I could profess one thing it's this: if you ever find yourself catching fire, if the world clashes with your colors and muffles your sounds, dampens your light, if you want even one good thing for yourself the world will not allow, take it with your own power. Rip it from the air itself. Seize fate's rigid threads and bend them to your will. Play for keeps. Never give an inch. No tradition is worth your peace. No expectation is worth your joy. Nothing inherited is truly yours. Only you can build the world you truly deserve. Only you can shoulder your own ambition. [...] A man's 50 years under heaven passes like a dream... but you can't count on heaven, so you've got to make it here, now."

What a fucking legend, man. Thank you for everything you do, KBash 🙏❤

When I saw Nobunaga and strategy I was reallt expecting this to be a 4 hour long Pokémon Conquest video

This is my third time attempting to listen to this video on one of my twelve hour shifts. I'm not a patron or anything, just a regular fan who watches every video you put out. This past year a lot has changed for me. My mom died in February while my best friend's passing from January was still fresh in my mind. I met the love of my life and had my first child. Around six months later and my father gave me the news he has cancer and won't be around much longer. Throughout all this I've found great comfort in YouTube videos, whether that be crying while they're in the background, having a long form video when at work, or when I stayed awake the entire two and a half days of induced labor to make sure I didn't miss my baby being born. Your videos weren't the entirety of the content I consumed, but your voice and opinions did matter and they did help me. You probably help more people than you'll ever know.

the Tim Rogers we have at home has become the KBash we get the family in the car for

Jesus christ, man. I stared at the comment box for minutes thinking about something meaningful to say about this... About this random Nobunaga's Ambition video that bore me naked and asked me to look into the ugly puddle I've become, the passions I've left to die and the failures I've let define me. Being your exact age, at the exact same stage in life and bearing a professional disappointment much too similar, this wasn't easy to watch. I wonder if it will jolt me awake, like Masahide Hirate's Seppuku

As a former teacher: that “I’ve taught high school, I’ve seen who’s replacing me.” Comment really hit.

I think this is genuinely one of the greatest videos you've ever produced, Kbash. Thank you for taking the time to create something that can at the very least, have me ponder and reflect on life much like how Nobunaga left you doing the same.

...or maybe that just comes alongside hitting your 30s, I don't know yet.

Lets go the Western Nobunagas Ambition fandom got KBash now increasing its size from 5 people to 6

This video felt like "I went to therapy and now I need to get this off my chest as a part of the healing ... My healing process" and this one of your best videos full stop

WHO let KBash touch Nobunaga's Ambitions. That series will make you go insane.

"KBash finally mentioned Pokémon!"

This has massive Action Button Tokimeki Memorial and boku no natsuyasumi vibes in the way you weave between recounting your playthrough and bringing up past stories and getting introspective. Incredibly well made, this shit has me gripped.
