It' s reccomended to use wild bettas, they are bigger and less agressive

I've seen it work, but that tank had a lot of dither fish as well to take their attention.

I've had 2 males with 4 females before but they were fine! I had a 120 gal tank with other fish in there as well but the thing is - some shops have them all in one big tank aka they grew up with other fish. My local fish shop has a 40gal with maybe 10 or 11 bettas all of them are in diff stages of life, gender, color but very few are injured or sick

I have a 240-liter community tank housing various tetras, and I also added three male and three female bettas. At first, the males fought, but I’ve noticed now that there is an alpha whom the others avoid; the main problem, however, is that some of the tetras are nipping at the bettas' tails.

1:18 i did not expect that 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Betta fish fight over 2 things, females, and territory. They make bubble nests so their teritories are based on surface area. Outnumber the males with females and there's no need to fight over mates, and give the tank a big enough footprint for them to have space or organize plants or decor to create separated surface space, and there is no need to fight over territory. Problems solved betta can definitely be kept together.

I think you shouldve added vallisneria

You can only mix beta if they are together since they are babies and they never be separated. In developed countries, you can buy beta in 500 pieces in one bag and they are not really fighting.
