he was vlogging before anyone has ever thought of youtube

they should make a new documentary of his whole life. There's a lot to say about him now

Well, this proves: John invented Vlogging before YouTube even existed.

07:41 David LaBruyere "I'm still trying to get comfortable with this camera thing"

I used to hate John Mayer. I’m so glad I came around once I matured in my tastes as an old person. 😂

Okay I've seen this a hundred times but I'm just now realizing this:

At around 1:20 when all of the clips in the squares are changing constantly, watch all of the stuff that John does... From wearing a shirt-necklace to magically conducting city traffic.

Thumbs up, spread the word :)

Anybody who films their future is making their future.

Rarely do you get the chance to see the making of the first record. Keep in mind, this is before anybody but a few knew who JM was and certainly before the tidal wave that became that first album. Think video of The Beatles making "With The Beatles" and all that they were thinking as it was being made. Therein lies JM's genius. From here it could have gone nowhere (not really) but what the heck....let's video the proceedings anyway. I love this behind the scenes of that record in particular!

Man this makes me wish I was born in the 80s, so that I would of been able to experience and appreciate the world sooner. Instead I was born in the 90s but still glad not everything is like it is now.
